    NASA must have some first class origamists on staff. That unfolding was remarkable. I wasn’t aware of the fabric (mylar?) base for the telescope. The planned unfolding of the Russian nuclear space tug is equally impressive.

    It can see redshift from 20-30 micros. We have never seen that far. Theory says things are out there but we are basically seeing the farthest we have ever seen by a lot. Think the farthest before was 11 and change. That’s the way I “think” I understand it. I’m not sure what that means for the visible human eye spectrum or is this just detection with infrared.
