Ms Bass has brought great benefits to her district and served admirably as its Congresswoman. She raised five children which is a feat by itself. Thus she is due some accolades. She also is a strong supporter for Universal Healthcare and the Green New Deal amongst other socialistic programs.

Bass might be the only member of the House compromised by Communist Cuba, but I suspect there are a multitude of staffers and federal service employees who have been compromised by Cuba or other communist governments. Senator Feinstien had a Chinese agent on her payroll for years. House IT staffer Imran Awan comes to mind, even if it were only bank fraud he was guilty of, which I doubt. Neither did the Frankfurt Schol come to the US in the early 1950s. The Institute of Social Research was founded in Frankfurt, Germany in 1924. Between 1933-1945 the Institute was moved to the US. Some of the scholars like Marcuse remained in the US others like Adorno and Horkheimer returned to Frankfurt.
