‘You will own nothing, and you will be happy’: Warnings of ‘Orwellian’ Great Reset

Ridingthearc1

"A terrifying coalition of big business and big tech are so confident and brazen they are promising the public “you will own nothing, and you will be happy” in an advertising campaign for a global reset, according to Sky News host Rowan Dean. “What they should have added is ‘we the very rich will own everything and be even happier’," he said. The Great Reset is a proposal set out by the World Economic Forum for a new globalised fiscal system which would allow the world to effectively tackle the so-called climate crisis. Mr Dean said the plan intends to use the “tools of oppression” implemented during the pandemic, such as lockdowns and forced business closures as well as other measures destroying private property rights, to combat the coronavirus to achieve climate outcomes. “I've spoken before about the insidious phrase Build Back Better which sounds like common sense but is in fact just one of several slogans for the Great reset, another being the Orwellian phrase the fourth industrial revolution”. “This is as serious and as dangerous a threat to our prosperity and freedom as we have faced in decades." Mr Dean warned viewers to think again if they believed this was just “crazy old Rowan with his conspiracy theories”. “This garbage is already deeply embedded into our state and federal governments.”"  skynew

—————

"Nothing is too good for the troops" is an old US Army expression "and that is what they will get – nothing!"  But will the "troops" accept that?  Will the "troops" accept that the Orwellian pigs should live in the departed master's farmhouse?  Will they?  The motto is supposed to be "two legs bad, four legs good," but only the pigs can live in the dachas of the nomenklatura?

The depth and scope of the pigs' intentions in such statements from Davos and other sanctimonious centers of "learning" is evident.

Biden is a potential hazard for such plans.  His evident dementia and crime familia record might bring the whole scheme low.  He, therefore, must be treated as an expendable "card" in the piggy game.  A Special Counsel to investigate The Bidens? (someday to have a warship named for them like "The Sullivans?")  Sure, why not?

If "The Bidens" go down, Kamala will be there, standing by to carry on.  A Special Counsel to investigate the "greatest election fraud machinery in American history" might bring her down as well.

No! No! That can't be.  That would not follow the arc of history.  pl

They already outsourced working class jobs by the millions. They have been busy replacing middle class jobs with outsourcing and visa immigration replacement and are now destroying private incomes under the cover of China’s biological weapon – Covid – by declaring those sources – small businesses – to be ‘non-essential’. They certainly aren’t essential to the oligarchs and their poverty pimping politicians.
How well did these globalissts do resetting Haiti? They were involved from the General Secretary of the UN down to Hilary’s daughter. Sadly our press are subsidiaries of companies that rely on China for the majority of their current and future revenue. The Chinese have been waging financial war against Americans for decades, and the revelation of the election steal is showing just how corrupted our so called elites are.

  2. LJ says:

IMO the “Davos crowd” transcends left and right and even national borders. Klaus Schwab views COVID-19 as an opportunity that should not be wasted. Will the troops accept it? They are begging for the vaccines and they are the key. Once again, imo, they are an updated version of The Abolition of Man.

  3. Barbara Ann says:

I’m glad the presenter included an excerpt from the actual WEF promo video using that quote, I had to see it to believe it when I first heard the phrase.
This is an insidious as it gets. A global oligarchy trying to convince us that we should trust a “science-led” (and you can’t argue with science) technocratic elite to solve “climate change” and all the other troublesome issues in the world so we can just relax and be “happy”. I read it with the followig emphasis; “You will own nothing, and you will be happy” as presumably there will be no choice on either count. The “unhappy” will need to be re-educated/drugged appropriately I guess.
I have another idea for a great reset. It involves more old fashioned ideas on happiness and how it should be pursued. It is increasingly looking like it may also require guns and a few lamp posts in order to drive the message home to our would be overlords.
Alastair Crooke had a good piece out a few weeks ago about the creeping technocratic coup underway at the hands of the Western neoliberal elite. He decribes the Davos ethos thus:

It is half-heartedly woke, big corporate in outlook, and committed to the notion of élite ‘scientifically administered’ rule.

The notion of individual liberty is entirely absent, unless it is the liberty of the the farmyard animal. Jon Voight is right, these people are evil, plain and simple. How many good men are willing to do something about it? Wake up people, the calendar is already being reset, back 36 years.

  4. Diana L Croissant says:

As long as we are thinking about Orwell’s dystopian novel, I always also go to Soylent Green, another of the several novels of that sort at that time. the Democrats and their fascist little soldiers who are destroying our cities would probably be willing to think of Soylent Green as another source of ideas for their ultimate total control.
Heck, how hard is it to go from figurative cannibalism to actual cannibalism? (They should be warned. Horrible prion diseases/medical conditions are associated sometimes with cannibalism.) It might be hard, however, for them to see that far in advance in their ravenous (I chose that word carefully) grab for power.

“The Arc of History” and its inevitable bend is one of our times’ greatest fatuities.

what is the life cycle of a nation in terms of years? 250?? the usa is about there… coincides with the pluto return to usa chart for 1776…. the jig is up! the usa is quickly becoming no more…

Where is Canada on that scale?

Here is a link to the World Economic Forum, one of the proponents of the ideology of the Davos crowd. Notice how covid plays a key role.

“Logan’s Run” offers a “vision” of what the Davos crew would like to make the world into. But Orwell is closer to the reality, I suspect. Not only do I see no push back where I live, I see nothing but Little Red Guards cheering it all on. I’ve been thinking about how to reverse engineer this whole operation in order to get a clearer idea of who, specifically, is involved in its execution, but it is over my head. One thing is clear, though, it requires a media that is not just captured by fully and actively colluding. Oh, and Gates makes my skin crawl. He might as well have a swastika prison-tattooed on his forehead like Manson, he is that horrible, IMHO.

  12. AK says:

    EN,
This sent chills down my spine when I read it:
“As we enter a unique window of opportunity to shape the recovery, this initiative will offer insights to help inform all those determining the future state of global relations, the direction of national economies, the priorities of societies, the nature of business models and the management of a global commons. Drawing from the vision and vast expertise of the leaders engaged across the Forum’s communities, the Great Reset initiative has a set of dimensions to build a new social contract that honours the dignity of every human being.”
It’s stated right there plain as day how they see themselves and the rest of us, and what their intentions are – total control. Our current social contract (the United States Constitution) is clearly their greatest impediment, so let commence with the assault thereupon and the defense thereof. The fight looks inevitable.
Based on what I read into this, we just might be in for an upheaval of historic proportions that makes today’s situation look like a minor inconvenience.

  13. Fred says:

    LJ,
Who are you referring to as to begging for a vaccine? I haven’t seen anyone on active duty begging for it. Why should they, this is more survivable than the flu.
    James,
Justin already sold you guys out. Enjoy what you’re about to receive.

  14. TV says:

A while ago Walrus had it right.
The uneducated and uninformed populace will figure it when they start to starve.

Please try to take responsibility for yourselves instead of whining about “poor Canada.”

  17. Eric Newhill says:

    AK,
    Yeah. I agree. Simply awful.
The only question is if we fight or go quietly into that good night. I’m afraid that Col Lang is right in that very few are the men their fathers were.
I’m beginning to believe that everything we see happening is related to that quote you copied.

  18. blue peacock says:

    Col. Lang,
The exercise of naked power has long been a theme in historical stories. Why would it be any different now?
As I have noted many times here at SST, concentration of market power in the US has been an accelerating affair for 40+ years under both political parties. IMO, it really accelerated with the Reagan presidency onwards. Bill Clinton took it to the next level with removal of Glass Steagall and the elevation of finance capitalism to its commanding heights by hiring key architects Bob Rubin & Larry Summers and with the active support of the GOP leading lights like Phil Gramm. Couple that with the Ph.Ds in charge at the Fed and complete takeover of institutions like FTC and FCC by the Party of Davos and we have seen the asset stripping of American industry including the devastation of vast areas of America’s manufacturing heartland. Ross Perot rang the bell but most Americans considered him to be a crank. The vast majority of Americans cheered along with the mantra of free trade as Clinton provided the Chinese communists Most Favored Nation status and brought them into the globalist WTO franchise. It was inevitable that market concentration brought along the symbiotic alliance between Big Business & Big Government. Covid response being the ultimate classic example where small business was deemed non-essential and shut while economic power was further transferred to Big Business by Big Government actions. Amazon cafeterias with indoor dining are substantially larger than even the largest restaurant but they are allowed to operate. Add to this the transfer of direct money to Wall St by the Fed printing it up, first after the GFC and now under the rubric of covid response.
Trump has demonstrated during his term that he was weak-minded and not ruthless and definitely not very competent. Other than cry on Twitter he did not exercise the power of his office. He hired the majority of his cabinet from the Swamp and did not cut the head of the Swamp snake when he had a chance by taking out the Russiagate coup plotters and setting an example. He whined on Twitter throughout the campaign but did nothing to directly challenge the changes in electoral rules to make mail-in ballots such a powerful weapon. He had Mitt’s kin Rona McDaniel to head up the RNC instead. Of course his supporters on one side claim he plays 64D chess but on the other hand claim he has no agency.
Now the Party of Davos emboldened are exercising naked power across the spectrum. Look who Biden is nominating! Not much different than Obama who nominated his team at the behest of Wall St as shown in the leaked Podesta emails.

  19. Fred says:

    Barbara Ann,
Unsurprisingly zero of these people are willing to turn over their personal wealth to the state as an example for the rest of us to follow. I wonder how long it will take Beto and friends to round up the 2 o 3 hundred million guns in America?

  20. Bill H says:

California is already implementing “you will own nothing” by decriminalizing theft. If what you possess can be stolen without penalty then private ownership is, by definition, abolished. You posses anything you can take, and only that which you can prevent others from taking.

  21. Walter Lang says:

    blue peacock
C’mon, man. The US constitution long limited the exercise of naked power. That is ended.

  22. LJ says:

Fred, Sorry. I took “troops” to mean the population. But as for military personnel, no, they probably won’t want the jab, … but they will probably end up getting it as ordered. The pressure to take the jab will be immense. This is sad in that there is strong evidence that the Ivermectin is practically a cure for the disease.

  23. LJ says:

Here is an article about how social impact investing, blockchain digital identity, will build on the micro bots that will be injected into bodies. The article frames these programs as a great social benefit disregarding what happens to people whose blockchain identities are debited for non-cooperation.
