"A new crossing point linking government and rebel-controlled areas in northern Hama countryside is now available for both trade and civilians.

Hama-Morek highway has been officially opened today following extended talks between the Syrian government and rebel factions, aimed primarily at facilitating the trade between the two warring parties."   AMN

Yes, this is great for the civilian population but it is wonderful for the coming government (R+6) offensive into Idlib Province. This will be a main supply route (MSR) for that offensive.  pl

    This is not about “fooling” the rebels. They know the government will use the road for military purposes and don’t care anymore. pl
