The Big Terrorist Lie and the Growth of the Surveillance State – Feds Using Far-Left Operatives from SPLC, ADL, ACLU in Pentagon ‘Working Group’

An important articles out today that highlights the dangerous road our American republic is traveling–the Federal Government, in the name of combating terrorism, is unconstitutionally spying on Americans and, at the same time, increasing the personnel and infrastructure required subvert our freedoms.

The article by Ken Klippenstein, writing for the Intercept, describes a new Pentagon “Working Group” comprised largely of left-wing ideologues with a demonstrated bias against conservatives. Unfortunately, Ken’s editors at the Intercept had him focus on only two of the 18 names on the list–Michael Berry and Anat Agron and leave the impression that right-wing extremists have inflitrated the Working Group. But they are the only two with links to conservative groups.

If you take a closer look at the attached list you will see that at least 7 of the 18 members of this “Working Group” are or have been affiliated with the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) or the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) or the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).  These three groups have a disturbing history.

Why is the SPLC so heavily represented in this group? It has a long, proven track record of targeting Christian and conservative organizations as “terrorist” organizations. Do you recall the attempted massacre in Silver Spring, Maryland in 2012 of the Family Research Council?

Was Austin promoted to 4 star because of race?
    An affirmative action general?
Seeing his public speaking, he doesn’t come across as the brightest bulb on the porch.

    • FeinGul says:

Austin is Abu ISIS, aka D’aesh 2.0, he ran the Syrian Democratic Forces training for Obama.

      That’s his pedigree.

This is his core competency and it’s being applied here, now.

  2. akaPatience says:

It’s frightening to learn of a US Secret Police, frightening that some of the accused Jan. 6 protestors are victims of over-zealous prosecution, being denied due process, speedy trials, etc. Evidently our Judicial Branch has also become so corrupt that it goes along with this. Considering all of the hours of video surveillance from that day, why haven’t we seen damning evidence of egregious crime? The cop-killing fire extinguisher assault turned out to be a total lie, yet the Capitol security person who ACTUALLY KILLED an unarmed trespasser isn’t being named, much less charged with a crime.

It seems the MSM keep showing the guy sporting an elaborate Indian headdress because the 2 horns on it were the closest thing to bearing arms.

If leftist/Uniparty ideology is truly popular why do they have to spy, entrap, propagandize and cheat – while allowing their henchman to skirt ethics, break laws, and ride roughshod over their political opponents?

PS – A cherry on top: Carter Page’s lawsuits have been dismissed for some picayune reason by the Dept. of Injustice.

    • Fred says:

“Evidently our Judicial Branch has also become so corrupt that it goes along with this.”

Whatever gave you that idea, Judge Robert’s stellar oversight of the FISA courts?

Carter Page should have know that ‘venue’ would get his case tossed out. Judge Leinenweber was very gracious in making a conclusion, that “The only potentially helpful claim — that Defendants ‘orchestrated’ their relationship with Fusion GPS through Perkins Coie’s Chicago office — is baseless conjecture.”, all , without seeing the evidence.

Sounds like due process to me. “When in the course of human events….” is due for a comeback.

      • FeinGul says:

When in the course of human events had armies in the field fighting after decades of organizing first against the French/Indians then against the British.

When in the course of human events happened a year into the war.

It ain’t happening, we can discuss this further behind the wire on our way to the showers.

        • Fred says:

As I recall from the pre-revised history the decades of organizing against the French/Indians was done by loyal subjects of the crown. I don’t think I’ll make it to the showers, I’m too high up on too many proscription lists.

  3. Richard Ong says:

The names of those CEWG experts reads like the roster of yesterday’s apprehensions on the Arizona border.

  4. C says:

ADL is a rightwing organization, you seem deeply confused about these terms and manipulated as a result.

    • Some Dude says:

It seems that the author uses left and right so he can avoid having to talk about the Jews who run all these anti-white organizations and their collaboration with the Jews who dominate the Biden administration.

It’s the sort of thing you expect to find at Breitbart.

    • DLM says:

“Right-wing” and “left-wing” are nebulous terms that can be twisted as needed for the sake of manipulation and division. There are no objective standards as to what makes one right-wing or left-wing. Ideas that are considered right-wing in one society may be considered left-wing in another.

Obviously, there are many ideological approaches with massive differences between them. However, doesn’t it seem a bit strange that you can take these different ideologies and cut a line through the “center,” delineating them into “right-wing” and “left-wing”?

    • Keith Harbaugh says:

      You call the ADL right-wing?
Take a look at the material they are promoting for school children on gender insanity:

“At the same time, transgender and gender non-conforming people face injustice in every aspect of their lives: at home, in schools, in workplaces, in doctors’ offices and emergency rooms and in public places like grocery stores, restaurants and hotels.”
      You call that right-wing?

      Also from the ADL:

  5. Fred says:

Haven’t you caught on that the SPLC has simply become a tax-exempt lawfare organization aligned with the Obama left? His people successfully orchastrated the ouster of the founders and took possession of the half-billion dollars in funds and the organization’s money generating aparatus. Professional do-gooder Margaret Huang, investigated so thoroughly by Michelle O’s former chief of staff, Tina Tchen, is in charge there now.

  6. Deap says:

ACLU tyrannized our local California community and turned it into vagrancy dump. ACLU threats have terrified city council after city council into do-nothing enablers, by filing lawsuit after lawsuit and demanding the impossible – that we house and care for each and every person who comes to our city with demands to stay here permanently with zero ability to support themselves, but plenty of money for drugs and alcohol.

Every day one of those vagrant camps sets fire, which can only lead to totally tragic consequences when it happens on a dry windy day. Every day petty theft, stalking and harassment increases. Bum camps now take over all our formerly wonderful city parks one by one, each immediately leading to fights and assaults.

Families no longer can use them and piles of detritus grows. ‘Covid” prevents their removal regardless of their health and safety threats to the rest of us. The arguments always stop when they ask — where will they go? Indeed, where will this growing population go? In a country were we tear down perfectly good homes in the Rust Belt while allowing vagrant camps to take over the Sun Belt – all thanks to ACLU and the liberal activist courts who support this agenda.

This is a “company town” – the county seat and a public college town where the largest employer is the “government” in one form or another, and its government employee voters always vote a straight Democrat pro-employee union ticket. It also has one of the most bloated city employee structures in the state.

Voter turnout became dismal once the employee unions started dominating the election process. Anyone trying to overturn this dismal status quo gets destroyed by the Democrat machine.

Term limits for council members only created a revolving door of city employee union-dominated councils and boards, digging the hole deeper with each election. Plus city elections are now handled by electronic voting in Los Angeles, 100 miles away. You know who brand of election systems also run our elections office.

But hey, the weather is great. Averting one’s eyes still finds dazzling views and vistas And there remain a few continuing lovely parts of town, but no one ventures downtown any longer. Tourists must confront the bum gauntlet with decreasing desires to ever return. I also suspect ACLU loves trying cases in this coastal tourism town, over filing them in Bakersfield. So they relentlessly attack us and leave us with unsustainable shreds.

Let your own elected representatives know you do not want HR-1 ( ersatz voter protection reforms) because this will happen to you too.

The dark web of Biden back-scratching favors continues to grow:

……..”According to emails obtained by The Daily Mail, former FBI director Louis Freeh gave $100,000 to a private trust for Joe Biden’s grandchildren while Biden was Vice President.

The ex-FBI director also communicated with then-Vice President Joe Biden about working with Hunter Biden “to explore lucrative future work options”.
Freeh was working for three foreign businessmen who ended up being convicted of various corruption charges.

    The Daily Mail reported:

Former FBI director Louis Freeh gave $100,000 to a private trust for Joe Biden’s grandchildren and met with the then-Vice President in 2016 ‘to explore with him some future work options’, emails reveal.

Freeh also spoke with then-Vice President Biden in 2016 ‘to explore with him some future work options’, according to the bombshell communications

The emails suggest Freeh was trying to establish a future business relationship with Biden – and the White House has failed to disclose to whether Joe Biden discussed private business with Freeh while in office.

According to the messages, obtained by from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop, the former FBI director was working for three foreign businessmen and officials at the time, who were all later convicted of various corruption charges, including a multi-billion-dollar ransacking of a Malaysian wealth fund……..”

  8. FeinGul says:

Hmmm this CEWG [cuegg?] seems to be targeting MAGA whites and Muslims.
A strange marriage this….of Left and Right ….

Who could be doing this? LOLOLZZZ

  9. backsdrummer says:

Today my 19 year old son received a hand written thank you card from a mysterious “Barb,” (no return address or full name), congratulating and thanking him for voting democratic. They are using the mail in ballots to make lists. My son is scared by this.

  10. JerseyJeffersonian says:

    A few questions arise…

First, did your son, indeed, vote Democrat?

Second, I was under the impression that one’s cast ballot was secret, no? That this is apparently not the case should be cause for apprehension; when a supposedly secret ballot is after all no longer secret (especially to certain anonymous parties), that’s a sudden plunge down the proverbial “slippery slope” toward tyranny, and in no uncertain terms.

Boy, all of that CoVID-1984 induced panic that made mail-in ballots mandatory (for reasons of public health, of course… /s), sure was useful; This made it possible for Them to know who you were, and how you voted. So very handy for keeping party members on the reservation, and not so incidentally, for instilling a little fear, and then also beyond that, perhaps down the road to assist in the compulation of a list of those to “cancel” or even to intern in a re-education camp. Such forward thinking – and astute – fascists They are!

  11. J says:

    Colonel, Larry,

Off-the-rails Biden has authorized DHS to activate CP3

Side note: The DHS Secretary Mayorkas ‘purged’ his own DHS, and our beloved America is ‘next’ on his agenda. If one disagrees, they will put a target on your back. Sounds like the Nazi Gestapo all over again doesn’t it.

    • smoke says:

J- Wow! That CP3 document reads almost like the hack attack on this website. Full of opaque buzz words, generalities, and very limited substance.

But it seems clear where they want to go with it – more unconstitutional, “preventive”, control measures, esp over speech and the internet. And more surveillance and personal propagandizing of communities.

The only people seriously scared by the slightly out of control demonstration at the Capitol, on Jan 6, seems to have been Congress. Maybe only Dems? Or they pretend to be. Probably more scared for careers than for lives.

It was reported that Congressional leaders have new “domestic terrorism” measures ready to tee up, awaiting a provocation to justify it. Seems like some in D.C.and media have decided to proceed, in both their narratives (“insurrection”) and actions, as if Jan 6 actually were the violent threat to the nation, which they need for the next ratchet up in the gradual dismantling of liberty, dissent, and the Constitution.

None of it bodes well. But if this document represents the standard for government communications, no wonder governing activity seems full of confusion and dysfunction. Do the worker bees in the agencies and departments spend half their time in required meetings and another half looking at each other, asking, “What did s/he just say?”

    • Barbara Ann says:

Yup, that was it, the May 11th DHS announcement was the official founding of the American Gestapo/Stasi:-

Secretary Mayorkas also announced a new, dedicated domestic terrorism branch within the Department’s Office of Intelligence & Analysis (I&A) to ensure DHS develops the expertise necessary to produce the sound, timely intelligence needed to combat threats posed by domestic terrorism and targeted violence

Sounds like the perfect career path for Jackson Reffitt. The final paragraph is the most ominous:-

Secretary Mayorkas has directed DHS to embrace a whole-of-society approach to combating domestic violent extremism and all other forms of targeted violence and terrorism by building trust, partnerships, and collaboration across every level of government, the private sector, non-governmental organizations, and the diverse communities we serve. The federal government cannot do this alone – we must work together.

Of course nothing builds trust in a society like encouraging everyone to report the unapproved behaviors of their neighbors. When they march you off to the domestic terrorist FEMA camp for voicing support for your constitutional rights, it will more than likely have been a friend, co-worker or your aspiring Red Guard kid who initially snitched on you.

Orwell couldn’t have written a better definition of precrime; “early-risk factors that can lead to radicalization to violence”.

  12. J says:

    Here’s a good read IMO:

  13. J says:

    Colonel, Larry,

The erstwhile OSD Austin has ‘hired’ Bishop Garrison to be the Pentagon’s MAGA ‘purge’ man. Garrison pushes Critical Race Theory. Garrison has been given a wide birth by OSD Austin to separate ‘permissible’ from ‘un-permissible’ OPINIONS at the Pentagon.
The Pentagon’s Countering Extremists Task Force being run by Garrison, is one more step towards Totalitarian Marxist Rule IMO. Garrison has publicly labeled all Trump supporters as racist, repeat ALL Trump supporters Garrison labels as racist.

Garrison is an avid proponent of the NY Times originated 1619 Project and its indoctrination of middle and high schoolers with propaganda that our children must despise their nation—its Constitution, its ideals, its economic system, AND must despise our nation’s Founders.

Pete Hegseth: Meet Bishop Garrison, the Pentagon’s ‘newly minted MAGA purge man’

OSD Austin’s April 9 standown letter:

  14. PRC90 says:

This would be fertile ground for the evolution of a new variety of ‘sanctuary State’ existing somewhere on a spectrum of (i) not supporting (ii) passively opposing (iii) actively opposing, the exercise of Federal jurisdiction.
If that occurred, parallel trends could include the sub rosa individual or cell support within Federal agencies for State opposition, a paralyzed Legislative branch, and the movement of people to and from States in line with their ideological positions.
One wonders if the ‘progressives’ (hey, lets just call them power-seeking Marxists looking for their own dream-like Year Zero) would actually forecast some benefit for themselves in this.
It would be ironic if the US was ultimately saved from this by the Neocons who finally realised that their new American century, now 1/5 gone, was actually turning into a ****heap.

  15. J says:

    Colonel, Larry,

It’s sad that Bishop Garrison, a West Point Grad with two tours in Iraq, will be the one that destroys the U.S. Military from within.
