An important articles out today that highlights the dangerous road our American republic is traveling–the Federal Government, in the name of combating terrorism, is unconstitutionally spying on Americans and, at the same time, increasing the personnel and infrastructure required subvert our freedoms.
The article by Ken Klippenstein, writing for the Intercept, describes a new Pentagon “Working Group” comprised largely of left-wing ideologues with a demonstrated bias against conservatives. Unfortunately, Ken’s editors at the Intercept had him focus on only two of the 18 names on the list–Michael Berry and Anat Agron and leave the impression that right-wing extremists have inflitrated the Working Group. But they are the only two with links to conservative groups.
If you take a closer look at the attached list you will see that at least 7 of the 18 members of this “Working Group” are or have been affiliated with the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) or the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) or the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). These three groups have a disturbing history.
Why is the SPLC so heavily represented in this group? It has a long, proven track record of targeting Christian and conservative organizations as “terrorist” organizations. Do you recall the attempted massacre in Silver Spring, Maryland in 2012 of the Family Research Council?
Was Austin promoted to 4 star because of race?
An affirmative action general?
Seeing his public speaking, he doesn’t come across as the brightest bulb on the porch.

Considering all of the hours of video surveillance from that day, why haven’t we seen damning evidence of egregious crime? The cop-killing fire extinguisher assault turned out to be a total lie, yet the Capitol security person who ACTUALLY KILLED an unarmed trespasser isn’t being named, much less charged with a crime.
It seems the MSM keep showing the guy sporting an elaborate Indian headdress because the 2 horns on it were the closest thing to bearing arms.
If leftist/Uniparty ideology is truly popular why do they have to spy, entrap, propagandize and cheat – while allowing their henchman to skirt ethics, break laws, and ride roughshod over their political opponents?

Carter Page should have know that ‘venue’ would get his case tossed out. Judge Leinenweber was very gracious in making a conclusion, that “The only potentially helpful claim — that Defendants ‘orchestrated’ their relationship with Fusion GPS through Perkins Coie’s Chicago office — is baseless conjecture.”, all , without seeing the evidence.
Sounds like due process to me. “When in the course of human events….” is due for a comeback.

“Right-wing” and “left-wing” are nebulous terms that can be twisted as needed for the sake of manipulation and division. There are no objective standards as to what makes one right-wing or left-wing. Ideas that are considered right-wing in one society may be considered left-wing in another.
Obviously, there are many ideological approaches with massive differences between them. However, doesn’t it seem a bit strange that you can take these different ideologies and cut a line through the “center,” delineating them into “right-wing” and “left-wing”?

Haven’t you caught on that the SPLC has simply become a tax-exempt lawfare organization aligned with the Obama left? His people successfully orchastrated the ouster of the founders and took possession of the half-billion dollars in funds and the organization’s money generating aparatus. Professional do-gooder Margaret Huang, investigated so thoroughly by Michelle O’s former chief of staff, Tina Tchen, is in charge there now.
ACLU tyrannized our local California community and turned it into vagrancy dump. ACLU threats have terrified city council after city council into do-nothing enablers, by filing lawsuit after lawsuit and demanding the impossible – that we house and care for each and every person who comes to our city with demands to stay here permanently with zero ability to support themselves, but plenty of money for drugs and alcohol.

Term limits for council members only created a revolving door of city employee union-dominated councils and boards, digging the hole deeper with each election. Plus city elections are now handled by electronic voting in Los Angeles, 100 miles away. You know who brand of election systems also run our elections office.

Second, I was under the impression that one’s cast ballot was secret, no? That this is apparently not the case should be cause for apprehension; when a supposedly secret ballot is after all no longer secret (especially to certain anonymous parties), that’s a sudden plunge down the proverbial “slippery slope” toward tyranny, and in no uncertain terms.
Boy, all of that CoVID-1984 induced panic that made mail-in ballots mandatory (for reasons of public health, of course… /s), sure was useful; This made it possible for Them to know who you were, and how you voted. This would be fertile ground for the evolution of a new variety of ‘sanctuary State’ existing somewhere on a spectrum of (i) not supporting (ii) passively opposing (iii) actively opposing, the exercise of Federal jurisdiction.
