US/Israeli/Alien alliance looms claims Israeli general (retired) – RT

"The former head of the Israeli military’s space division has claimed that Tel Aviv and Washington have contacted a “Galactic Federation” of extraterrestrials, but that mankind is not ready for the “truth” about life in the cosmos.

Retired general Haim Eshed, 87, who headed up the Defense Ministry’s space unit for nearly three decades, alleged the existence of an alien alliance spanning the galaxy in a bewildering interview with Israel’s Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.

“The UFOs asked not to advertise that they are here, [because] humanity is not ready yet,” Eshed told the paper on Saturday, adding that US President Donald Trump “was on the verge of finding out, but the aliens in the Galactic Federation say: wait, let the spirits calm first. They don’t want us to have mass hysteria.”"  RT

Aahh … the Rooshans are making fun of us again.   They must think that any country that would elect the incoming menagerie should be subject to ridicule.  I never met this old gent, and I worked with the world-beating IDF general staff on a daily basis.  Dunno what that means.

CNN and MSNBC will probably try to pin this on Trump.  NBC – not so much.  pl

Could our government under Trump (while he is still in office) please ask the Space Aliens to gather up any of the leftist “peaceful protestors” and drop them into some of the vast unpopulated parts of Russia?

  2. Steve Ogle says:

Israeli generals! The evil aliens coming to destroy us should we not give them what they want. Life just isn’t entertaining without a good conflict. I found this movie very entertaining and thought provoking.https://www.amazon.com/Close-Encounters-Fifth-Kind-Contact/dp/B086D4D3V6
    Time for meditation.

I thought this story originally came from the Jerusalem Post

The use of the phrase ‘Galactic Federation’ definitely makes it farcical. I have wondered if this recent dump of UFO stories was a clumsy psyops operation to scare countries like Iran into thinking we have some cache of advanced tech they don’t know about. If it is it should be filed under, ‘how not to do psyops’.

  4. ked says:

Trump has nothing to do with it. However, our election conspiracy debacle proves the Gen. is mistaken. People are quite ready & able to believe in anything.

  5. ISL says:

Dear Colonel, A new twist on the meaning of the “Chosen People?” in this case, I would say the Izzies are making fun of us…

  6. Barbara Ann says:

“They don’t want us to have mass hysteria.”
Heck it’s 2020 – we’ve pretty much reached peak mass hysteria already. News that the Izzies are in touch with ET wouldn’t warrant much more than a shrug of the shoulders. How long before we find out COVID originated in the Andromeda galaxy?

  7. Rick Merlotti says:

Who knew ET’s are one of the lost tribes? Or perhaps it is the progeny of the wandering Jew from A Canticle For Leibowitz?

  8. james says:

the usa-israel alliance would be the last duo for aliens to contact, unless they wanted to set them straight! the guy is probably legit! and yes, rt is having a laugh about that…

  9. Since Israel is the home of the biggest bulls***ers and liars in the world I wouldn’t lose too much sleep over this turd.

  10. confusedponderer says:

Well, there are odd governments with odd perceptions and priorities. Perhaps that Israeli general had a meeting with ótimo grande mestre Bolsonaro recently and left inspired?

I cannot speak of that from personal experience, but maybe it is necessary to … widen perceptions at G-20 meetings.
I’ll switch to some more hungarian parody:
An hungarian orbanist anti LGBT far far far righter just was arrested in Brussels, amusingly on a gang bang homosexual party that was stormed by police for obviously ignoring corona precautions.
József Szájer tried to escape but amusingly didn’t get beyond the rain gutter. The cops also found ecstasy in his rucksack (not his, he said). I read that participants tried to open cops the pants because they thought the were part of the party.
Obviously a manifestation of integrity and law and order, from flesh to the bones. Orban said Szájer is a good man, expressed his gratefulness. About as naturally Fidesz folks accused foreign, hostile intelligence services to have set a trap. What else? József Szájer corrupt or dishonest? Holy moly!

I am not inclined to believe what he is saying. I do wonder why he is saying it now though. What does he hope to gain?

  12. This is a Bridge too Far for me. Top Gun Navy Pilot Commander Fravor and the 2004 Nimitz incident is the best eye witness we have to this phenomenon. And the 2015 Gimbal video of the UAP off the coast of Virginia in 2015.
As of today I believe there are UAP/UFOs invading our Air Space and are interested in our Military assets. I’m not married to the idea.
And if solid evidence comes out supporting a more mundane origin and is believable I will go back believing we are alone in the Universe. Or at least our little section which is awe-inspiring in its own way.

  13. ISL says:

    Jersey City Joan,
What to gain? He has a book to sell.

  14. J says:

He is saying no more than what others have been saying for years. Humanity used as exchange currency/lab-rats by malevolent entities in exchange for advanced technologies.

  15. Yeah, Right says:

I would imagine that the best way to tease apart this story is to start at the very beginning.
As in: does the IDF even have a “space division”?
If the answer is “no” then the story does a pratfall at the very first hurdle.
But if the answer is “yes” then the next question is: did Haim Eshed head that organization?

  16. Mark Logan says:

I thought it the Russians taking a poke at the Izzies. They have been fighting people that Israel support, so a high official publicly demonstrating his cheese is nowhere near his cracker must amuse.

  17. semiconscious says:

‘& thus it was that tel aviv welcomed the galactic federation. it was only some time later that they came to understand that the federation’s presence here was primarily on behalf of the palestinians, whose long term suffering had managed to reach even its attention…’

  18. Yeah, Right says:

So this General holds these two propositions to be true:
    a) “mankind is not ready for the “truth” about life in the cosmos”
    b) “Tel Aviv and Washington have contacted a “Galactic Federation” of extraterrestrials”
Well, if nothing else the Good General is displaying a breathtaking lack of self-awareness and a truly impressive ability to cope with cognitive dissonance.
    Thus Spoke Zarathustra, hey?
Either that, or his alien mind-control chip is malfunctioning.

  19. Crest says:

    @yeah, right
Eshed was the first director of the Challenge Program, a unit of the Administration for Research, Development of Weapons and Technological Infrastructure in the Defense Ministry, which is responsible for satellite projects.
You know those Israeli communications and spy satellites? Those and alien relations perhaps.

  20. A.I.S. says:

    @ Turcopolier
OT but do you have a view on Ret. Gen. Austin, whom Biden has pegged as his Pentagon Chief?
I am kind of happy it isnt Flournoy.

  21. turcopolier says:

    A.I.S
I was asked to brief him once. Flournoy was worse.

  22. A.I.S. says:

    @ Turcopolier?
Worse in what way? I would peg her as a “doesnt want to be briefed, rather wants the briefer to say what she already knows and reaffirm her or else” character. This isnt a very specific prediction, because I assume that quite a lot of Washington fits that criteria.
