Oklahoma sues the US over control of the National Guard

“The state of Oklahoma has sued President Joe Biden and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin for their vaccine mandate on the state’s National Guard on Thursday.

The lawsuit was filed by Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt and Attorney General John O’Connor, both Republicans. It requests relief against the vaccine mandate it deems unconstitutional and asks to enjoin the federal government from enforcing the mandate against the state’s National Guard forces.

The suit also asks to keep the federal government from withholding funding from the Oklahoma National Guard or its members.

“Biden’s vaccine mandates are a clear abuse of power,” O’Connor wrote in a statement announcing the legal action. “He does not have the authority to make healthcare decisions for Oklahomans.

“It is sinister that Biden is threatening Oklahomans with the loss of their jobs if they do not surrender their personal rights and freedoms to the federal government. The president is using private employers to do his dirty work.”

O’Connor and 20 other state attorneys general wrote Biden last week to challenge his administration’s vaccination requirement for federal contractors put in place in August.

“How can they pay their mortgages and car payments?” O’Connor’s statement continued. “Then, months from now Biden and the democratic Congress will dole out trillions of dollars to support the people Biden drove out of the workforce.

One Response to Oklahoma sues the US over control of the National Guard

Since the Biden regime appears to be entirely illegal and fraudulent, I can only hope that the Constitution prevails and the rule of law is restored. If that restoration includes an assertion of states’ rights and a diminishment of Federal power, many Americans would rejoice.

In 1995, William S. Lind wrote various scenarios about the breakup of the USA due to internal fractures. Some of these scenarios have been elaborated:

Some of those scenarios envisions the actual competent warfighters of the USA siding with the individual states and the federal government disintegrating because only people like Kamala Harris were willing to rally behind the Federal Government. In Lind’s version, the opposing sides actually resort to physical, kinetic violence.

In the real world, it is possible that the “red tribe” includes most of the competent warfighters, but perhaps the “red tribe” is wise enough and charismatic enough to stare down the traitors without the need for open, kinetic violence. If the USA government had open, kinetic violence, even without civil war, that might embolden the enemies of freedom, notably the PRC. An outright civil war in the USA would be disastrous. However, it might be possible for “states’ rights” to prevail without a kinetic civil war.

The state guard of Florida appears to be resisting federal lawbreaking. I don’t know whether that resistance will turn out to be symbolic or some stunningly brilliant legal strategy.

Several states appear to be resisting pseudo-legal pro-degeneracy propaganda in schools:

As of November 18th, 27 states have distanced themselves from the NSBA’s letter: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Seventeen states have taken further action—Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin — to withdraw membership, participation, or dues from NSBA.

Some very corrupt people are not seeking re-election:

The Daily Beast thinks that Bannon’s legal strategy may serve to empower other people harassed by corrupt Congresspersons:

Sometimes very bad criminals have a cowardly streak, and it just takes a bit of nonviolent resistance to throw their criminal schemes into confusion. We can hope that the legal resistance to unConstitutional traitors throws the traitors into confusion. It would be preferable to open civil war.
