I saw this flic on the TV a while back. Stone has the ability to make things look real even as you know that he is a bit of a lunatic.

Frankly, I thought Alexander was one of the worst films I’ve seen in a long time. I had recommended my Old Testament students see it–but after I had seen it I apologized to them for the recommendation. It was much more about Stone than about the historical Alexander.
I anxiously awaited for Alexander come out. Boy what a disappointment. I have followed Colin Farell since I saw him in a great little movie called ‘Tigerland’ but the whole Alexander production was just that-too much production and not enough time spent getting the actors to be believable to me. All good actors but just seemed bad directing. The movie looked good but that never makes up for bad acting.
