    Ah, you got me! Those dramatic and mysterious rock formations in the photo caught my attention – like the bones of great old dragons long buried – until I scrolled down and saw the scruffy tufts of grass. And then I laughed out loud.

    I am a SciFan fan and as a young’un read Analog, and the like. I was a big fan of the illustrations of Kelly Freas. That photo from Wadi Rum is like a cover illustration from one of those mags! The rocks are exactly what you’d think Mars would look like and the white mask with the capsule shape really gives a ‘porthole view’ feel.
