I apologize for bringing this filth to the SST forum, but some knowledgeable refutation is required. Stripper Attorney Michael Avenatti is out today with a contrived story trying to smear Judge Kavanaugh with the claim that he was a facilitator of gang rape. You have to read the sworn affidavit of accuser Julie Swetnick very carefully. It is rife with innuendo. More importantly, it tries to represent a variety of allegations as actual facts but, when carefully examined, those allegations collapse. Here is the biggest problem with Swetnick–she was allegedly a high school senior at Gaithersburg High School (a public school in northern Montgomery County) while Kavanaugh was a Freshman at Georgetown Prep. How many female high school seniors have you known that like to hang out with freshman boys.
Here is what she affirms about Kavanaugh:
- I attended more than ten house parties where Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh were present in the period 1981-1983.
- I saw Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh drink excessively and engage in highly inappropriate conduct, including being overly aggressive with girls and not taking "No" for an answer. The conduct included the fondling and grabbing of girls without their consent.
- I observed Brett Kavanaugh drink excessively and engage in abusive and physically aggressive behavior towards girls, including pressing girls against him without their consent, "grinding" against girls, and attempting to remove or shift girls' clothing to expose private body parts.
- I likewise observed him be verbally abusive towards girls by making crude sexual comments to them that were designed to demean, humiliate and embarrass them.
- I often witnessed Brett Kavanaugh speak in a demeaning manner about girls in general and as well as specific girls by name.
- I also witnessed Brett Kavanaugh behave as a "mean drunk" on many occasions at these parties.
- During the years 1981-82, I became aware of efforts by Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh and others to spike the punch at house parties I attended with drugs and/or grain alcohol so as to cause girls to lose their inhibition and their ability to say "No".
This is real simple. This is a bald face lie and this woman should be prosecuted. I have examined the yearbooks for Gaithersburg High School and Julie Swetnick graduated in May 1979. Brett Kavanaugh was a freshman at Georgetown Prep in September 1979. I have never in my life known any female who has graduated from High School who then thinks it is a good idea to hang out with freshman boys.
In fact, given the age difference and the allegations it is conceivable that charges of statutory rape or contributing to the delinquency of minors could be brought against Swetnick. If we are to believe her testimony she was playing the role of cougar in training. I want you to think carefully about this–Swetnick was an adult under the law and witnessed felony activities on multiple occasions being committed against minors and by minors. And what did she do? Nothing. Worse than nothing. She returned repeatedly to these parties where criminal activity was occurring. Who does that?
The bigger problem with her allegations that Brett Kavanaugh was a mean drunk who routinely demeaned women. It will be clearly established that Kavanaugh did not know this woman. But he does know over 200 women who have vouched for him as a gentleman who has treated them with respect and dignity. In what bizarre world does the word of a woman who does not know a man supersede the sworn testimony of more than 200 women?
