I did not vote for Biden. I believe his son Hunter and his brothers have been making money off the Biden name for decades and that parasites instinctively continue to cling. I am not looking forward to hearing about the Biden family over the next four years.
I think Biden will face real challenges as Commander in Chief due to China and Russia ramping up arms purchases and ramping up their bad behavior. I see a return to the Cold War-type behavior which I do not want and can’t believe is happening but nevertheless is happening.
We have had several decades of superiority and complacency that is coming to an end. As a naive American woman of course I enjoyed this period immensely. I did not have to think about hard things as they would affect America. Now I do. And of course now that China and Russia are becoming big problems that does not mean that our problems with Muslim extremism have gone away.
I have no desire for war. I wish someone else was Commander in Chief.

What could possibly go wrong with a feeble early stage dementia lefty with his “finger on the button?”
He’ll think it’s the snooze button.

The Commander in Chief. God help us.

  4. Deap says:

Biden is checking to see if his prior face lift needs tightening.
Since both Biden and Harris got obvious face lifts prior to their runs as “VP”, shall we soon expect Medicare to now cover these as essential services? One can only assume Nancy ‘Eyebrows Now at her Hairiine” Pelosi will approve.
Those of us of a certain age can take comfort projecting the Biden-Harris years promise to feel a lot longer than their mere allotted 1460 days. An odd form of life extension; but not a good kind. Let the merriment begin.
Meanwhile still cheering Trump’s Hail Mary Pass, if for nothing more than salting the public record so we may all reflect what the theft of our Republic feels like and we can dedicate ourselves to never letting this happen again.
8000 GOP signed up to be election observers for the upcoming Georgia senate election. I intend to do the same thing in my county, where the election’s chief already admitted machine signature verification has 40% error rate, and we do use Dominion Voting Systems.
Turning California Red, one rescued vote at a time.

The Bait for the Switch to Kamala, who couldn’t win a singel delegate.

  6. TV says:

    Wrong picture.
You need to show Kamala Harris.
In any case, you’re right: “Good luck to us all.”
We’ll need a LOT of it.

  7. BillWade says:

President Trump has asked his supporters to join him in DC on the 6th of January “it’s going to be wild”. I don’t think he wants them there so they can shed a few tears with him as he loses the election. January 6th might be pretty wild but I think these days leading up to it will be pretty wild as well. Has anyone seen Gina Haspel yet?

jerseycityjoan….as citizens we do not have the option of not having to think about hard things as they would affect America. Never. Our only option as educated citizens is to engage….especially locally. The hard things we face are the result of years of inaction and willful complacency. American exceptionalism may be the most dangerous phrase ever. Climate change comes to mind….something out military has been addressing and factoring into their calculations for years as unavoidable. Perhaps Biden will be a President who encourages us all to engage and will not claim to “be a stable genius” and “have no responsibility.” China’s economic muscle and international outreach is really going to test us…I hope we are ready to meet the test creatively and not reflexively. Happy New Year!

Dilbert’s Scott Adams walks us through the breaking “kraken” story out of the Georgia election regarding vote data switching, which he claims is the best news of 2021 – so far.
Data, allegedly untouched by human hands, showed in the middle of the count Trump votes declined by the exact same numbers that Biden’s votes increased.
Scott Adams praises this breaking Georgia story especially, because the nerds simplified election fraud down to one simple question – how did the demonstrable election data vote switching happen? He awaits the answer, as do we. No answer for this proven data vote-switching and …Trump won. If there is an answer, then let’s hear it.
    https://electionwiz.com/2021/01/01/scott-adams-the-computer-nerds-found-the-kraken-looks-like-trump-won/
Adams also notes this breaking Georgia story was not covered by any MSM and only a brief mention on Fox. Anyone watching the live Georgia election committee hearings had their breath taken away when this claim was presented….with data.

What’s the over/under on how long before Ms. Kamala will become the C-in-C of the US armed forces?
    https://youtu.be/Y4fjA0K2EeE
Note that Ms. Kamala did not receive a single delegate in the Democratic party primary.

Pat to make an 11 (right now anyway) luck is about all we have going for us. Best 2021 to all here. ted

  12. exiled off mainstreet says:

“E pluribus unum” will be replaced as the official motto by “non compos mentis.” It was obvious that the fix was in, and even democrats, given time, will eventually admit it like everybody knows that Oswald was not the solo killer of JFK. Without legitimacy and with absurd covid medicofascist decrees, I foresee serious difficulties ahead for the yankee imperium.

  13. Deap says:

Misinterpreting American Exceptionalism as American Arrogance is the most dangerous mistake of all.
America and its chosen from of governance, untried anywhere else is the world – where the people chose their leaders after fair, transparent and honest elections using the SECRET BALLOT – is exceptional.

  14. jerseycityjoan says:

I know people here won’t want to hear this but Senator Sasse told his constituents that Congressional Republicans aren’t saying the election was fraudulent among themselves. He said this yesterday on Facebook and I don’t think anyone has called him a liar yet.
‘When we talk in private, I haven’t heard a single Congressional Republican allege that the election results were fraudulent – not one,’ Sasse wrote in a long Facebook post Wednesday night. ‘Instead, I hear them talk about their worries about how they will “look” to President Trump’s most ardent supporters.’
Now I see that Trump is saying the Georgia runoff elections next week are illegal. I wonder what he is up to.

  15. Deap says:

It will be shabby if the first female US president is known first for sleeping her way to the top.
I wonder what sort of silly hats her teacher and nurses union women friends will wear to her swearing in, since Kamala actually did it; not just talked about it in the locker room. Please don’t make us listen to her cackle for four years. Please.
I will send Biden free bottles of Geritol, if it helps to keep Kamala away from the cameras. Soros needs to refer Biden to his goat gland injection clinic for longevity booster shots.

  16. longarch says:

    Sir:
Many Internet commentators have argued that the USA is already in a cold civil war, and that it might turn into a hot civil war.
Most of the people who voted for Trump believe Biden’s team stole the election. Some of the people who voted for Biden believe Biden’s team stole the election. The total number of people who believe the election is fraudulent numbers in the millions. The US government has suffered a shocking loss of legitimacy. If anyone from Biden’s team is the commander-in-chief, the risk of hot civil war is heightened. Many sad patriots are praying that violence might be avoided, but are entirely willing to do whatever might be necessary if violence cannot be avoided. Some patriots are meditating on the slogan “Beware the man that has nothing to lose, for he has nothing to protect.”
Furthermore, the legal means of opposition to the coup have not yet been exhausted.

    May God’s will be done.

  17. Deap says:

Good list of election fraud claims that have not been “debunked” by the Democrats – they are still out there, pending. Democrats are lying if they claim there is “no evidence. There is and it is material:

  18. Fred says:

    Laura,
“Our only option as educated citizens is to engage….especially locally. ”
You mean like the fine people of Minneapolis who ensured discrimation against Somali immigrants being hired by the police was eneded? How’d that work out for the guy currently in jail for killing that woman who immigrated from Australia? The locally engaged people re-elected the same political party’s candidates, the ones who led the same police department to train that fine mixed-race group of police officers who arrested George Floyd. Party loyalty won again. The more things don’t change……
“Perhaps Biden will be a President who encourages us all to engage…”
After 44 years of service he’ll finely be the inspirational figure we always needed.

  19. Deap says:

Laura writes: “Our only option as educated citizens is to engage….especially locally. ”
Do you honestly think we still have an “educated citizenry” after the recent decades of the now well-documented and dismal failure of our teacher union-dominated government schools?
Many have tried, but few have been able to break up teacher union dominated local school boards. Consequently the Democrat Party teacher unions are now the “hands that rock the cradle, who control the world”.
Add Democrat universal pre-school and universal child care mandates, and the Democrat revolution is complete, from the inside out. Others call this child abuse of the rankest order.

  20. Hugh Midas says:

Longarch, you are spot on and absolutely right. Let all keep singing the exceptionalistan mantra, and we will be where you say we’re going pretty fast…..
Ukraine shenanigans few years back by the Noland gangs are the booster as well. Keep messing with Russia and continue the foul play in the near East…. the end game will be near

  21. Deap says:

Germany reported most Omicron cases are among the vaccinated. Denmark now reports the same thing: ……..”

An explanation as to why vaccinated individuals appear to be getting infected with the new strain at such a staggering rate, when compared to those who have not been injected, could perhaps be found in a report by the New York Times, which claimed that experts in Israel had warned the Israeli government that “too many shots might cause a sort of immune system fatigue, compromising the body’s ability to fight the coronavirus.”……..
