“AOC Accuses GOP of ‘Taking Out Sexual Frustrations’ on Her”

AOC and friend

“After a photo of a maskless Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and her boyfriend vacationing in Florida hit Twitter and drew pushback from Republicans, the firebrand congresswoman fired back, accusing the GOP of taking out its “sexual frustrations” for not being able to date her, and fixating on her instead.

GOP personality and former adviser to President Donald Trump, Steve Cortes, posted on Twitter, criticizing AOC for not wearing a mask while dining out in Florida while her home state is forcing vaccine and mask mandates on the population.

He also leveled a critique at her boyfriend, Riley Roberts.

“1. If Leftists like AOC actually thought mandates and masking worked, they wouldn’t be frolicking in free Florida,” his post read. “2. Her guy is showing his gross pale male feet in public (not at a pool/beach) with hideous sandals. 0 for 2.”

Ocasio-Cortez responded by accusing Republicans of being “fixated” on her.

“If Republicans are mad they can’t date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet,” she said. “It’s starting to get old, ignoring the obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women, and LGBT+ people in general. These people clearly need therapy, won’t do it, and use politics as their outlet instead. It’s really weird.”

Comment: No, sweety, the willingness of the people of your district to elect you is what is weird, considering your record and childish ignorance about economics, etc. That is what is weird.

Her remark that “these people clearly need therapy” is eerily reminiscent of the way political opponents to communism were classified in the USSR as mentally ill and forcibly committed to mental hospitals. But then, she probably does not know that. Bernie Sanders could tell her about it. pl

She doesn’t belong in my state. I wish DeSantis would have her wear 2 masks and escort her to the airport forthwith.

AOC accused Ted Cruz of vacationing in Cancun when the Texas grid failed instead of “supporting” his constituents. Ted of course was forced to cut short his vacation.

Using her standards, she has abandoned her constituents cowering in fear as covid cases skyrocket in NY by vacationing in Florida that is the antithesis of New York with no vaccine or mask mandates and no lockdowns since mid-2020. The result being that deaths per 100K is lower in Florida than NY state. What did NYers receive for trading in their freedoms?

    • TV says:

Her constituents are uninformed, badly educated dimwits who automatically pull the “D” lever.

Fuck the Narrative Engineers masquerading as our leaders of Big Government, Big Media and Big Business should be ethos of 2022. Public health has been a victim of their authoritarian impulse. They’ve all been unmasked as the totalitarians they really are.

be grateful she IS such a dope.
aoc a veritable billboard for how NOT to run a successful grift.
if she is emblematic of the democratic parties future, the nation might get through this farcical political sesame street

  5. MapleLeaf says:

Weaponizing mental health when people disagree has been a go-to strategy for many (in power) throughout the last hundred and fifty years. Dehumanizing individuals by questioning their capacity to function as “normal” humans always leads to inhumane deeds (harm caused by the goodest of the good). It doesn’t matter in what country, or the creed one follows, the path towards that outcome is similar, and this is one of the first steps.

Ben Shapiro takes on AOC where it hurts even more: as a fascist covid fear-monger as he notes the rapidly changing Democrat “covid narrative” for election year 2022:

That guy seems a gross, apart from unhandsome, I would not like such a bruto placing his haired nud leg over the table when I am having breakfast…

This woman seems to not have understood what it is to feel respected.
Hence she had to, out of topic, refer to sex when she is being criticized for telling people to do what she does not do…

Increasingly, through this pandemic, I am starting feeling that these new rich as the worst anytime could happen to us….

Like a plague, they feel so entitled to their new priviledges while feeling at ease curtailing the rights of the rest…

But this is far from being a problem only of the “new left”, since those of the right at the helms, at least in Europe, suffer from the same problem, this time out of belonging to a rancid caste…

Kurz, the ousted Austrian PM and WEF Young Global Leader, who resigned on charges of corruption, and whose resignation gave place to the current Austrian totalitarian regime, go to work with Thiel, as “global adviser”…They get their prize from the billionaire after impossing the given orders…

    Out, please!!

    • Eliot says:

      Marlene,

“ They get their prize from the billionaire after impossing the given orders…”

I think electoral voting systems emerged as a way to undermine the aristocracy and to legitimize the new ruling class. The aristocracies were rooted in the warrior class, the new rulers were rich merchants, with a very different set of values.

For the most part, these people rule indirectly, hiring or rent politicians. This is where people like AOC come from. The Bloombergs of the world are the rare exception. Most of these people don’t want to do the work directly.

  11. robt willmann says:

I read that there was some sort of contest or interview process conducted to find someone to run against the Democratic incumbent at that time, Joe Crowley, who was a crony of Nancy Pelosi and was expected to be the next Speaker of the House. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was selected. I do not know if it is true or not. If that selection process did take place, details about how it was conducted, who ran it, who the contestants were, etc., would be very interesting to know.

Ocasio-Cortez and three other women elected at the same time congealed together in a group, promoted by the media at that time as The Squad. Of the four, the one who had real natural talent was Rashida Tlaib of Minnesota, but she had no focused training. She stupidly used foul language about impeaching Trump at a public rally. After taking office, in a few interviews, she seemed a little like an awkward rookie, but not bad at all. Nevertheless, going forward she did not get competent assistance and practice about communicating and dealing with people. She would take positions and say things that were not thought through, and at times would sound shrill. As long as she sticks with the other three, she will not give herself a chance to develop and will significantly limit the opportunity to be effective.

On the other hand, AOC has adopted an approach, probably with advice, that is consistently amateurish and juvenile, like this instance declaring that Republicans are mad they can’t date her. At the same time, she is a totalitarian.

    • Fred says:

      robt,

“details about how it was conducted, who ran it, ”

The internet rumor is Cenk Uygur . I’m sure it scared the hell out of the establishment Democratic leadership who forgot John Dingell’s words of wisdom about there being only two ways to run for re-election: unopposed and scared. Crowley has now disappeared from our future, since he’s doing nothing to shape it.

    • Schmuckatelli says:

I have heard the same story from a friend who is in the Republican Caucus. AOC won the audition.

    • smoke says:

Rough sketches from the web: A group calling themselves Justice Democrats formed, with the aim of moving the Democrat party in a more progressive/socialist direction. Their strategy had some merit: challenge indifferent office holders in “safe” Democrat districts.

Justice candidates seem to have been selected through a murky process that included interviews. AOC was selected for the Bronx challenge to Dem incumbent Crowley. She probably was a resident of NYC, but not the Bronx at the time. Saikat Chakrabati, a successful young tech entrepreneur and one of the leaders of JusticeD, managed her campaign and, upon her victory, became her congressional chief of staff.

From his congressional position, Chakrabati began openly challenging Pelosi’s policies and criticizing other congressional Democrats via twitter. In March 2019, the FEC announced an investigation of possible violations of campaign finance rules by Justice Democrats, involving also a private company owned by Chakrabati. In July Pelosi called a meeting/ summoned AOC. Perhaps a “come to Jesus” moment?

In early August Chakrabati resigned his congressional position, leaving to work for a “green deal” advocacy group. Any follow-up reporting on the FEC investigation seems to have disappeared.

  12. Robt Willmann says:

Correction: Rashida Tlaib is in Congress from Michigan, not Minnesota.

  13. akaPatience says:

She’s a Progressive Poseur who serves conservatives well as a Useful Idiot, exemplified by these latest silly and arrogant remarks.

According to leftist journalist Glenn Greenwald, she mainly gives lip service to far-left issues but often fails to support them with her votes on key “progressive” legislation before Congress. He used to be a big fan but nowadays points out her duplicity. She’s a mascot for the far-leftist faction of the Democratic Party, duping low-info progressives while generally not impeding the corporatist party agenda.
