Speaking of the #BBOG campaign, Shekau the leader of Boko Haram who had been reported killed dozens of times in the past 10 years only to reappear in a new boisterous video every month(he had a penchant for emptying AK-47 clips, sometimes one in each hand, as punctuation for his orations), was finally killed by IS in May after they invaded his Sambisa forest base. This is something that the Nigerian/AU army had been unable to do for a decade despite them knowing for sure that he was in there. True to his nature, Shekau blew himself up in the middle of a negotiation meeting with IS after they cornered him.
Very interesting character this man Shekau. Fully fluent in english and arabic as well as his native hausa and kanuri. His views and methods, in particular his belief in chain takfir which lead to indiscriminate attacks against muslim civilians living under government rule, were seen as too extremist/counterproductive for IS standards and he was passed on by the central Iraq IS leadership which he had earlier pledged allegiance to. This lead to a split within the Boko haram group, one wing staying loyal to the designated IS successor, another to Shekau. Interestingly, even after the split Shekau still saw himself as the representative of the Iraqi Caliph in Africa, and continued to release professionally produced, for african standards, independent propaganda videos with fabricated IS watermarks up until his death. IS has since fully absorbed his cadres, this is particularly now visible in the far north of Cameroon around lake Chad where attacks previously claimed by Shekau’s group are now being claimed directly by IS.

Per Crawford, changes were made to VAERS and to safety signal analysis in the lead-up to the EUA for the COVID-19 vaccines. On January 29, 2021, CDC published, “Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) Standard Operating Procedures for COVID-19.” In Section 2.2 beginning on page 14, CDC offers that, “A series of tables will be generated using the VAERS automated data,” and these, “will be refreshed daily for internal use,” yet “not for public release.” Why would CDC not want “eyeballs” on such data? This is especially true in that it took two months to see that myocarditis was an issue in spite of Israeli warnings. Despite this warning, it was June before action was taken.”)
Proportional Reporting Ratio
“The proportional reporting ratio (PRR) is a measure to summarize the level to which an adverse event is recorded for folks taking one drug, in comparison to the frequency of the same adverse event as reported in folks taking a different drug. This way, even though we don’t ultimately know how many initial VAERS reports are due to the vaccines, this measure at least allows us to see if a product is “as safe” as exemplar medication interventions we are more experienced with. Things get “crazy” in Section 2.3; this and its subsections, “define the safety signals to be used.” In 2.3.1, we learn that CDC will do PRR data mining as needed or weekly. Here they were comparing the current vaccines to established exemplar vaccines. Crawford holds that a notable safety signal is shown with a PRR of ≥4 on a chi-squared statistic, and 3 or greater adverse events (AEs) following. Mark Twain said there are lies, damn lies, and statistics. While we think he was exaggerating and that statistics properly applied are the heart of science, we merely offer a word of caution. Under above protocols, if a hazardous vaccine (e.g., one with 20 times the AEs) were given to the public, dangers substantially worse than existing vaccines might be overlooked. Key to Crawford, the “PRR remains invariant in the scaling of adverse events!”

“This is Not Subtle at All”
““For example, a vaccine that killed or maimed 1,000 times as many folks as an approved and declared “very safe vaccine” may show the same PRR, minor adjustments aside, thus there is no safety signal to the CDC. According to Crawford, important safety signals have been lost. During the vaccine program, “important safety signals have come and gone without notice.” For example, “the MedDRA term ‘death’ showed up as a signal in dispersion analysis in February, but no longer does due to the rising quantity of so many other AEs, which forces structural mean-reversion of the PPR function (toward 1) by inflating the denominator. In other words, the number of an AE, a, is normalized to the total number of adverse events (not the number vaccinated, or doses), the ratio of which is then normalized again to the aggregated totals…from other vaccines.” A signal can be hidden when, “PRR changes only slightly when a handful of AEs scale up, even for extreme value of the scalar”. After a review of some maths, Crawford notes that, “Mathematicians and statisticians worthy of the title do not miss the kind of scale invariance or mean-reversion we see embedded in the PRR—particularly not when working in a dedicated group on a serious problem. There is a pride among geeks in identifying subtle mathematical or logical flaws in a system, and this is not subtle at all.””
Are We Missing Safety Signals?
“On July 29, Crawford waded back into the vaccine safety signal issue. In 2016, Wisniewski, et al (including big pharma authors) looked at proper signal detection methodologies and said, “calculation of PRRs…should not replace nor delay the performance of formal epidemiological studies.” In 2017, Hauben and Maignen looked at the history of disproportionality analysis including signal functions like PRR; they found evidence of “masking”—this is when strong associations are present between AEs from different interventions. In 2018, Viswam et all, “found PRR to have the lowest sensitivity among various methods for AE signal detection. COVID-19 vaccines constitute a huge proportion of all VAERS reports, and will likely be the majority once submissions, “catch up with the backlog.” Crawford then offers a “simple analogy” to help elucidate the PRR issue. The PRR is a ratio of two quantities, where each is the number of an adverse event category, “out of the total number of adverse events ascribed to a vaccine.” Crawford’s main take-home point is that if we are comparing two mRNA type vaccines, even if the number of AEs grows large, the PRR may never signal a safety issue.”

If I take the common flu shot and get sick a month later, it is due to others are not getting the flu shot. Israel is now reporting Vaccine Effectiveness for covid shots at 39%-40%.
Haaretz, quoting Israel’s director of public health services, Dr. Sharon Alroy-Preis, has her stating [dateline Aug. 1, 2021]: “Previously we thought that fully vaccinated individuals are protected, but we now see that vaccine effectiveness is roughly 40 percent.”
Alroy-Preis stated fully half, or 50% of the current infections in Israel are among those fully vaccinated.
And she told Haaretz: “we see a drop in the vaccine effectiveness against disease for those who have been vaccinated early on, and we see it for both elderly people over the age of 60 but also for the younger.”
This means that the claimed ~40% VE is in fact going down as she speaks.

27th paragraph: “The numbers of cases and follow-up periods are currently insufficient for the estimation of vaccine effectiveness against severe disease, including hospitalization and death.”
Here is the NEJM, publishing a paper titled, “Effectiveness of Covid-19 Vaccines against the B.1.617.2 (Delta) Variant” — and none of the 12 authors, plus “et al.” — none of them had the skill set to recognize they are violating the VE definition!
“Vaccine efficacy/effectiveness (VE) is measured by calculating the risk of disease among vaccinated and unvaccinated persons and determining the percentage reduction in risk of disease among vaccinated persons relative to unvaccinated persons.”
VE includes measuring against disease — whether mild, moderate, severe, and deadly.
And this, published in NEJM.
Be that as it may, prior to March 2020, it was widely accepted: that 40% VE was “OK” for the CDC — even as they for decades claimed they wanted at least 90%.
When the drug pushers claimed with zero evidence in November, in concordance with the Emergency Use Authorizations for Moderna and Pfizer, they were claiming the impossible, at least, what has always been impossible: any VE better than 50% for influenza vax’.
It was ON PURPOSE the medical charlatans and vaccine fanatics in charge of this criminal operation pretended not to know the obvious about VE.

In other words: VE = 0 . . . . Zero vaccine effectiveness. This is the kernel of the on-purpose-created mass confusion, of which Walensky is directly complicit.
Vaccines unable to prevent disease spread are worthless.
As Dr. Meryl Nass, MD, put it: “This is called community spread, and when you cannot identify where the virus was picked up, and you refuse to treat contacts with effective post-exposure drugs, then Track and Trace is simply an expensive, bad joke.”
And worse, the CDC director is trying to pretend she and her agency don’t know where the spread is originating!
Walensky’s view can be put in perspective by one of the first big name MDs censored and shut down last year, Dr. Joseph Mercola.
Stating the obvious, he says effective vaccines are expected to completely block infection, period. Since community spread can create catastrophe.
Yet: this is what was promised just a few short months ago. . .safe and effective cov shots. . . and now the Walenskys are claiming they block serious disease, and does she believe it. . . and she also is saying things are getting out of control. . . .

As you point out the covid vax is similar to the flu vax, not like the polio vax. It is not preventing infections. Sweden is a good counter-example. Low vax rate, no mask mandates and no lockdowns and practically zero covid deaths in the past several days.
One problem that we have is that the CDC data is as good as useless. There’s no common standard on definition of what constitutes covid deaths or hospitalizations. We know that Alameda County, California counted those who died in a car crash but tested covid positive as covid death and then abruptly lowered covid death count by 25%. What are the current definitions? What is the data of vaxed vs unvaxxed deaths, hospitalizations & spreaders?
One thing is clear – from the origins of the virus to the actual efficacy of the mask, lockdown & vax policies there’s no transparency. What & why are the hiding?

One parameter that could be stated is 8.866% change in the “Not Black or African American alone or in combination” US population, to represent the 21,722,323 difference.

Pay attention to the lack of any standard, or the scientific term: parameter, and more likely to use term, statistics — in other words, there should be an “expected” value of what actual “normal” looks like — be that the number of after vax deaths, . . . and those who get the shot and then get infected; get ill, get very ill, go to ER, and also those that die, after contracting disease, having gotten the shot.
We are not being given the statistics — the expected values — of what should be at least an estimate of what might be considered “normal.”
There is ample data at this time, and there has been more than ample data for quite some time, actually, to have figured all this out.
Instead of sharing the data, we get a hysterical CDC director, a completely corrupt president, and a very sick man by the name of Fauci [et al.] throwing swill at us, instead of actual data, useful information. And this is all done on purpose.
These criminals all know damn well what the data says. . . or at least, it is reasonable to infer they are all hiding the information as it would interfere with their ongoing narratives and propaganda efforts, in coordination with big tech and big media, to de-humanize us all, at the end of the day.

Even if Covid19 does exist, it’s a mild disease that doesn’t kill fit healthy young people. It’s no worse that a common cold. The old folk were going to die anyway from pre existing conditions and corrupt doctors simply labelled their deaths as caused by Covid19.
If Covid19 even exists, it never came from animals. It was then deliberately spread by the Chinese in support of their plans for world domination.

Last I checked here in Quebec there have been 25 deaths total of people under 40 from the disease since the start of SARS 2. And none of these people were healthy. That’s the amount of suicides we have per week among this same age group, on average, province-wide. Was naively hoping to see key lawmakers protect the troops from mandatory COVAX – haven’t seen any evidence that’s going to happen and nothing heard from my inquiries to my Congressional representation from Alaska. For me, 15 years into the system about to be wiped away to avoid the jab.

1. Aspiration. This is done as a matter of course in Denmark, which is one of the benchmark countries for handling the pandemic so far. It’s standard procedure for other injections in the UK according to the regs. Yet it’s not being done for Covid jabs in the UK and I don’t see it mentioned much elsewhere.
It’s a simple enough standard procedure. It makes sure the vaccine goes into the muscle and not directly into the blood supply. Do you know why it’s not being done everywhere?
2. Also from Denmark I’m getting uneasy indications that they’re worried about the possibility of variants developing as a result of the unvaccinated in contact with the vaccinated. Seems logical given that vaccination doesn’t offer full protection against catching the disease. The virus is given lots of chances at getting round the vaccine.
This is important. I and many others have gone off forced NPI’s in a big way but that doesn’t mean that voluntary control measures are redundant. Voluntary control measures are taken by most as a result of advice given out by bodies such as the CDC. They’re not advising on this subject as far as I have seen and nor are the UK medical authorities.
In fact they have been advising the reverse in the UK – advising or at least indicating that the double jabbed vulnerable are more or less OK getting out and about as normal. But if there is a possibility of variants developing more easily as a result then that’s illogical. Any views on that? Should they be advising the double jabbed vulnerable to carry on limiting possible contacts?
3. Ivermectin. It’s harmless. Many reputable medics and scientists are saying it’s useful. Why the ban?

Colonel Lang – that must happen, must it not? I just hope we don’t get a real killer of a variant. Plenty of time for one to brew up given it seems many populations won’t be vaccinated to any degree for years.
The dogmatic certainties of the early days have blurred and the only thing I’m now sure of is that for any of the vulnerable, particularly in the older age groups, it’s a far better bet taking the chances of vaccination than taking the chances of catching Covid.
So I’m content to have had the vaccine, though I’m not at all sure that it hasn’t had something of an effect on my fitness. But a couple of of the family, young, had the disease itself and it’s left one of them weak as a kitten. So it seems one can be got either way.
It’s the compulsion I didn’t like. Most are perfectly capable of taking precautions for themselves and others without some dubious politician imposing virtual martial law.

Walrus – there are still two points I’m not happy about in the UK.
Aspiration is not only entirely harmless, it’s normal procedure. So in this case there’s no sense in waiting for further research. They could just do it and thus eliminate at least one suspected variable.
On Ivermectin, I can see the argument that it could possibly be risky to allow it to be an over the counter drug. But here the issue is that in the UK the doctors themselves aren’t allowed to prescribe it if they see fit. Yet in the States some doctors are using it – it’s all over the EVMS protocol or its successor – and are reporting success with it.
In the first case we can only be looking at bureaucratic inertia. In the second, it might be that or herd instinct, but it could also be pressure from drug companies wanting to market their own wares.
The fact that in the UK the medical authorities just ignore the issue does give grounds for suspecting the latter.

Much more people are taking the vax than taking Ivermectin though. I’m sure if the numbers were similar we’d see lots of Ivermectin-related issues popping up. The number of people that have died from the juice is pretty low all things considered. That’s not the issue, the issue is that the vaccines don’t work for those not at risk for COVID, and moreover this specific population is the only one at risk for the notable vaccine side effects identified thus far. In the Janssen vax case, it’s young women and in the MRNA vax case it’s young men. Neither populations derive any benefit whatsoever from getting vaxed.

A couple of days after putting the letter out, Dr Zelenko was contacted by President Trump’s Chief of Staff and asked to give a briefing. His understanding was that President Trump was to open the stockpiles and authorise the use of HCQ for early treatment. Unfortunately, President Trump’s order was not acted on by key staff so that HCQ was authorised for use in hospitals only not for early treatment of outpatients. Based on his work, Dr Zelenko thinks that 85% of the COVID deaths could have been avoided if early treatment had been permitted. He calls it genocide by corruption and a crime against humanity.

Long term dosing recommended for those with certain condition like Lupus may be where one sees any associated side effects. The hydroxychloroquine dosing protocol for “covid” appears to be short-term only and situational to known exposure.
At the very beginning of this “covid” adventure PubMed – the NIH Library ofMedicine research engine did pull up a French study suggesting the efficacy of hydroxycloroquine. for this emerging “pandemic”, so Trump was not off the wall when he suggested it could be a hopeful approach.
So Fauci claiming hydroxychloroquine was unsafe, while the CDC website was claiming its use was safe at the exact same time, gave early pause to what was the real agenda between the deep state, the Democrats and the 2020 election.

Apparently it lasted into 1892 and spawned some great conspiracy theories regarding its origin including electric lights.
On January 31, 1890, the European edition of the New York Herald ran an item suggesting that the electric light was somehow responsible for a global influenza outbreak. After all, “the disease has raged chiefly in towns where the electric light is in common use,” the article noted, and went on to note that the disease “has everywhere attacked telegraph employees.”
The medical world hadn’t yet discovered viruses so light bulbs seemed as likely as anything.
I think they’d given up on the Edison theory of pandemic by the time the 1918 Spanish Flu rolled around, but had spawned the face mask theory of containment for recently discovered viruses so small nobody could see them.

But here’s an interesting note from the field of microbial biotechnology, which is well documented at Legal Insurrection: Clinical evidence that the pandemic from 1889 to 1892, commonly called the Russian flu, might have been an earlier coronavirus pandemic – which has now evolved from a serious pathogen into just another common cold virus.
The article observes that the Russian Flu had several cycles of infection worldwide beginning in late 1889 with recurrences in March to June 1891, November 1891 to June 1892, winter of 1893–1894, and early 1895, and concludes with the question as to whether we really wish to continue this drama for the next 6 years.

Corona viruses constantly mutate, so if vaccines for each new one are going to be mandatory now, this is an unbelievably profitable business model.
No it’s not. Most of the world can’t afford more than a few cents per dose. Vaccines are easy to produce in quantity and there are already at least half a dozen competing designs.
Pfizer and others are getting a temporary boost but when third world plus Russia, China and India ramp up production the price will fall – except of course in the dysfunctional U.S system.
In addition these are “generation 1” vaccines which will no doubt require boosters like flu does. In five to ten years we will have cheaper “generation 2” covid vaccines which will last for five to ten years.
200 million Americans forced to vaccinate every year at $15 a shot = $3 billion in guaranteed sales by contract with the state.
Big pharma can insulate itself from cheap foreign competition as far as the American market is concerned.

What occasioned this comment was that, this very morning 05 AUG 21 I drove my live-in-girlfriend (SWMBO? – I don’t know what that means – she & I though were “an item” in our very early 1970s high school. Only *reuniting [2015] upon my sending a “Congrats to 1972” but in the meantime, separate lives lived)

In the usage you have encountered hereabouts, this is a loving apellation applied to one’s lady, to whom it were best to heed, and yes, obey.
There is a song by the guitar virtuoso, Adrian Belew, in which a “discussion” with his wife is described in which the conversation culminated with her stating, “You better watch out, skinny boy; I might bite a big hole in ya.” This is the archetype of SWMBO under provocation.

The only way to know for sure is a properly designed double blind placebo controlled trial. To do otherwise allows personal bias to creep in.
The one such trial I am aware of measured virus shedding in moderately ill patients and that appears to show Ivermectin has definite anti viral activity in that recipients of ivermectin shed less virus, however that is a very long way from proving Ivermectin is a cure.
Meta analysis of anything except double blind trials unfortunately does little more than suggest the design of a definitive double blind trial.
An adequate therapeutic does not need to be a cure – just sufficient mitigation of symptoms and eventual course of the condition.
Except when Fauci wants to set the end point goal posts, according to his own mysterious agenda. I suspect any “covid” therapeutic the does not also send gold bricks out of the hind quarters, will not be good enough for him.

READ the CDC order. It says that having a lot of people moving around because they have been evicted will exacerbate the pandemic. Therefore no evictions just now. The logic is correct, I think, but I’m surprised that the CDC gets to make what is essentially a political decision.
The logic to support the no evictions mandate is not correct, it is pure fantasy. More baseless than Trump’s concerns about election fraud.
Landlords are greedy GOP’s in the Democrat universe – punish the fat cats. Let’s use covid to do that too. Housing is a right after all, not a bargained for commodity.

I am not at all surprised that an unelected CDC official now gets to dictate private property ownership rights. The war on the pandemic is following the GWOT model. Just as the AUMF delegated war making powers to the Pentagon, the CDC has (or at least acts like it has) enormous delegated power from Congress. It has been empowered to fight the pandemic regardless of the impact on civil liberties, with public health powers analogous to the Patriot Act. In your own country this has already led to something approaching martial law.
The New Normal of forever public health warfare has been embraced by political leaders across the world. I think the Global War on Mortality (GWOM) is here to stay, although to what extent this has been accepted as a fait accompli by the citizenry remains to be seen.
