Schumer-scaled-1

Censure would also be a possibility but insufficient.  pl

  1. Eric Newhill says:

Is it a simple majority to censure? Otherwise, will never happen because the rest of the Democrats are on board with that kind of lunacy.
I can’t hardly wait until Nov. When trump wins again, I’m expecting mass suicides, arrests and long term psychiatric admissions. The country will be better off after the self-induced purge.
In the meanwhile, we’ll get to see Biden literally crap his pants and become a drooling mess in debates with Trump. The perfect representative for the Democrats.

  2. Fred says:

That’s a call for another Berniebro like James Hodgkinson to try his hand at political assassination. Perhaps the vaunted FBI could pause in its ongoing investigation of which political party adherents are most affiliated with being country music fans and how that might be linked to the largest mass shooting in US history to, oh wait, they haven’t figured out that connection yet. What happens in Vegas stays in the memory hole; Never mind, nothing to see here, poor old senator Schumer just misspoke and unlike you or I he won’t get fired or go to jail.

  3. Fully agree. SOB should be thrown out of Senate. Not that this will increase the percentage of normal people there, but norms of civility are being completely broken by those who are supposed to uphold them. Unprecedented.

  4. Spencer says:

Come, come now, he apologized, all is well again. He is sorry, he would treat you the same way and accept your apology for similar crimes, would he not? Please be kind to this cry baby!

  5. turcopolier says:

    Spencer
He apologized on the basis that he is an uncultured ass from Brooklyn? You are like him.

  6. Upstate NY'er says:

Schumer is a career swamp rat.
He will NEVER be censured, much less expelled.
The swap always takes care of its own – see Comey, McCabe, Brennan, etc.

  7. Diana Croissant says:

I wanted him expelled before he made this last threat against two Supreme Court judges.
I can’t give you a legal reason for expelling him. He just causes me to get sick to my stomach every time he speaks. He’s a pompous, self-righteous unlikable person who thinks he knows more than everyone else in the world. Typical left-wing politician.
Now, if we could finally find a reason to expel Pelosi from the House.
There must be two Democrats who can replace them who won’t be so repulsive.

  8. Kevin Watson says:

Over the last 10 or so years the public “progressives” have been using violent rhetoric like this openly in the media—abandoning their traditional philosophical/moral high ground.
Furthermore, the media does not cover Antifa as they should—as though they were the new ku klux Klan—cozying up with political terrorists (“Love Armed.”)
A big part of the progressive radical Left are not against violence if it makes the right statement, which is a pretty low bar for a civil discourse. Criminal mindset, resentment, inferiority complex, and then you get Schumer making mob-like threats this week. And remember his “6 ways from Sunday.”
    Yes he should be removed.
This is a pattern now. What are we supposed to tell kids now, Chuck? Extrajudicial killings a-OK if someone steps out of line. (I guess he won’t be.)
Bigger question is the stark and bitter lines that are being propagated into the social psyche, as though in prelude to a civil war. If not, whither the Republic?
    To Col
Spencer had to have meant all that sarcastically.

  9. optimax says:

Schumer is secure in his position of threatening the opposition. to him and them it’s kosher. It might even strengthen support with his base. Before this threat there was this to Trump: “Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.”
In private does he speak treason with the resistance?
