GRAHAM: FBI LIED TO FISA COURT, LIED TO CONGRESS ABOUT DOSSIER
Danchenko is believed to be the sub-source for former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele, who compiled the dossier that served as the basis for Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants against Trump campaign aide Carter Page. The dossier was funded by the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign through law firm Perkins Coie.
According to the indictment, in March, May, June, October and November of 2017, Danchenko made false statements regarding the sources of certain information that he provided to a U.K. investigative firm that was then included in reports prepared by the U.K. investigative firm and subsequently passed to the FBI.
The June 15, 2017, false statement count alleges that Danchenko denied that he had spoken with a particular individual about material information contained in one of the “Company Reports” when he knew that was untrue.
The March 16, 2017, May 18, 2017, Oct. 24, 2017, and Nov. 16, 2017, counts involve statements made by Danchenko on those dates to FBI agents regarding information he “purportedly had received from an anonymous caller who he believed to be a particular individual, when in truth and in fact he knew that was untrue,” Durham’s office said Thursday.
“The information purportedly conveyed by the anonymous caller included the allegation that there were communications ongoing between the Trump campaign and Russian officials and that the caller had indicated the Kremlin might be of help in getting Trump elected,” Durham’s office said in a statement.
“The Special Counsel’s investigation is ongoing,” Durham’s office said.

What is Fiona Hill’s connection to Danchenko? Wasn’t she an impeachment witness against Trump?
Fiona Hill — “Think Tank Employee-1” as Durham politely refers to this one in the indictment — she is mentioned as TTE-1, though not by her name.
She, the Senior Director for Europe and Russia of the National Security Council, appointed by Trump, and in office April 2017 – July 19, 2019. She was not appointed when Flynn was briefly at NSA as director, rather by HR McMaster,

I’ve given this much reflection, once Barr made public after Nov. 2020 election his appointment of Durham.
Barr’s scope of work ties the knot so tight no one can untie it. Quite the legal masterpiece.

Briefly, the old special counsel law required court approval at some level and was congressionally authorized.
Now, it’s the AG-only, using DOJ regs, — as what Barr applied [and as what Rosenstein applied circa May 2017].
Disappearing . . . Durham: either by death/killing him; or firing him, both very very messy options, obviously.
The DOJ regs require that Special Counsel can only be removed for cause.
And the AG must explain to congress the reasons.
Magnificent Merrick Garland’s latest Senate performance was a professional disaster.
This, involving the Loudon rapes. . . and this: a prime mover in men now stepping into governor and AG chairs to replaces the mouses in Old Dominion — plus a very pleasant surprise as Lt. Gov. . . . who vows no red flag laws.
Assuming Durham is not killed, and assuming Magnificent Merrick is actually supervising the SC [which I don’t believe Garland is] — what kind of reception would he get in the US Senate, trying to explain this?
He would be torn to pieces, and worse, if Durham is fired by the Democrats, would Manchin switch parties on the spot? And thus put the body out of Democrat control?
And Biden’s performance ratings are dropping faster than covid vac effectiveness.
It is possible the cartel running Biden would Disappear Durham. . . and no doubt want to, BADLY — but they didn’t on Jan. 20. For reasons I am not privy to, but they did not.
Also, if he is fired, and since there would be no cause, and if Manchin turns R. . . and the Senate files an action for it to go to the Supreme Court, alleging Durham’s firing broke the law?
This too would be a hot mess.
Garland would have to argue to supreme court why he had cause to fire Durham.
This would be after the Senate not only mopped the floor with Garland, but after he had to lick it as well.
Ouch!
And though this seem like a long shot. . . as a practical matter. . . should Garland end up before supreme court trying to make the case on why he was correct to fire Durham. . . the court would become, de-facto, the “new Durham” investigation. . . because all the material he already has on whoever, likely including Hillary, would all be a public jamboree in public. . . the evidence against Garland’s decision [firing Durham] would be of the same cloth that the indictment of Danchenko today was, and Sussmann before him. . . and those still to come. It would all come out, as part of this court case.
In other words: the Supreme Court would become the de facto Durham probe.
This is exactly why congress let the special counsel law lapse in the first play — so as to get rid of any court oversight of executive branch corruption, and only have the AG “handle it” with DOJ regs, regulating a special prosecutor function.
In a mythical sense, allegorical sense, legal sense and in a practical senses: a lot is riding on the integrity of the Durham investigations.
It is also not out of the question to mention or ask: what exactly is Hillary Clinton’s current actual health condition?
