I live in an area where there is zero chance of rioting/looting ever happening. However, an Aldi’s supermarket has now boarded up their windows. Aldi’s is European owned I believe. As a result of this, a woman nearby to Aldi’s who owns a small restaurant has posted on FB that she’s now too scared to keep her place open and has gone home to stay. Aldi’s on the other hand, are still doing business. We’re being played.
Where is the antifa guy getting the money to pay these jokers? Who is funding this?
We don’t even know who this ringleader is? Is he “deep state”?? After 3 years of intel-media operations aimed at sinking Trump, that must be considered a possibility.
Colonel, Let’s say you caught this guy handing out money to the rioters. How would you interrogate him? How would you find out who’s really running this operation?

I don’t feel I know what’s going on.
After spending hours last night watching TV and trying as best to keep up on the internet, it’s clear that New York City needs the National Guard at a minimum and probably active military too. We need much more manpower around the country.
Here’s Daily Beast reporter @rachelolding observed last night: “There a very clear distinction between the peaceful protesters and the non-peaceful. At one point, organizers instructed “peaceful protesters” to turn left and march east. A sizable group kept walking south – they started looting minutes later.” She described kids by the hundreds going up the avenues in New York going from store to store looting and putting the merchandise into waiting Mercedes.
Like I said, I don’t understand what is going on but it’s time to say “Uncle” and do what needs to be done to stop this mayhem. At the same time the peaceful, real protesters should be left alone.

I have a bad feeling about New York. I just saw on Brooke Baldwin on CNN bring up mess last night and comes right out and says the city needs help. She asks reporter if they will get it and he says he doesn’t think so, DeBlasio turned down National Guard. Cuomo talked about his decision earlier today and he chose not to overrule it. I think that’s a big mistake. It makes no sense. There were numerous incidents last night of law enforcement getting into trouble last night around the country. New York is asking for injuries and deaths.
The on the street reporter commented that it was a beautiful thing to see peaceful demonstrators passing by NYU. Brooke agreed. I agree. The contrast between the legitimate protestors and the looters and troublemakers couldn’t be greater.
Even the poster of that video said he was making an assumption about who that provocateur was. He still should be apprehended and questioned. He could be Antifa, anarchist or some white nationalist stirring things up for the boogaloo.

The contact tracing and other good intel/police investigation work is needed. Wackos of all strains are clearly using the protests as cover for whatever their cause or reason happens to be. Here’s another example:

A white power fraternity… that’s rich, although they do operate on college campuses for recruitment. Identity Evropa recently changed their name to American Identity Movement. They’re still a white supremacist/white nationalist group. I guarantee they’re far more centralized and organized than Antifa.
OTOH, a lot of the troublemakers are just apolitical chuckleheads of every color in it strictly for the loot or the shits and giggles. Here’s an example from the Metro Nashville PD:

It is a profoundly neocon (a war party, albeit today it makes no difference in D.C.)) party which is responsible largely for Iraq debacle, for once. Economically they are complete loonies bound by ties to stock market. It is not just GOP, there are issues with the “elite” as a whole, party affiliation regardless.
In Germany, the Left Party (successor party of the Stalinist SED from East Germany) and the Social Democrat SPD are publically declaring their solidarity with Antifa in reaction to Trump’s announcement that he wants to designate it as a domestic terror organisation.

We can all watch the videos of the riots and see with our own eyes who is burning, looting, assaulting. Depending on the city, it ranges, by my estimate, from about 90% Black to maybe as low as 50%.

I was swimming just a few minutes ago and realized I’ve seen this before and there is a partial solution. Back in the 90s Tampa elected a very far-left mayor, Sandy Freedman. She vastly underfunded our police department,they couldn’t pull over cars with headlights out because the police cars were in worse shape. She then decided police would no longer be allowed to chase after car thefts. Well,car thefts went up substantially, usually 100 per day. The auto insurers gave her a mandate: “You either stop this nonsense or we’ll cancel every single insurance policy in your city”. She had to comply and happily was not reelected. She also wanted public housing in South Tampa, the ritzy area.
The major property insurers should band together and let these city/state governments know and now – no more insurance in your city/state and we’re going to fight to not pay any claims resulting from the riots in your city/state as you did nothing to prevent the damage.
And colour revolution chickens fly home to roost.

In Miami, there was a peaceful protest led by local church leaders and the police were even giving people water.
Everything was fine, then the police told the church leaders to leave because two hundred outsiders were coming.
The police were ready and the National Guard was there almost immediately, damage was minimum.
There might be more intelligence on the outsiders then we are led to believe.

Have you seen the articles on protesters cell phones being tracked by stingray technology? Who in the protest groups are the Feds tracking? It is unclear to me if they only track externals and location data, or can they also tap phone conversations or text with a warrant. I assume they can also capture the phone number being called by a tracked cell phone.

Massive protests in Los Angeles today (Wednesday). There was no violence, and little to no looting. Something must have happened. Volunteers came out to clean up afterward. All in all, a beautiful sight to behold.
