“… Even if Joe Biden wins, there’s no way out now.”

Corruption

"Thanks to Hunter Biden, there's no way out for his father.

"Even if Joe Biden, the Democratic presidential nominee, is elected president, damning evidence will continue to emerge that his grifter-son fully embraced the Washington tradition of shameless influence-peddling.

If nothing else, Hunter is a monument to greed. An ellipse should be erected in his honor.

But the unresolved and trenchant questions are: how much did Joe Biden know and to what extent was he involved in the illicit (if not illegal) schemes?"

Joe will never answer. You can take that to his bank.

Biden, the elder, is hoping that he can limp across the electoral finish line by refusing to respond to those salient questions and by denouncing the incriminating evidence as "malarkey" and "a bunch of garbage." He scrupulously followed that script during Thursday night's presidential debate. He committed it to memory (such as it is). He deserves, I suppose, some credit for following directions.

With a lead in the polls, Biden will now surely retreat to his basement bunker trying desperately to run out the clock until November 3rd. Does he intend to nap his way through the scandal? Why not?

Time is on Biden's side. The disturbing revelations of what can only be described as rank corruption have come too late in the game."

—————

Teapot Dome, Grant's second term, the Corrupt Bargain, Harding's presidency, these were all disgraces, stains on the honor of the country.  Ah! Sorry!  I should not have used the outmoded and abandoned word, "honor."

"The Resistance" will now begin to have a different cast of characters if Biden wins.  Would Biden seek to use the coercive powers of the federal government and the states to destroy Resistance mounted against him?  In spite of the constant screams of "Dictator!" against him Trump never did.  pl

All the signs point to a Trump win, but I worry about Democrat cheating with the mail-in ballots. There is a lot coming out about the processes in key states to suggest that the game is rigged. For example, signature verification appears to be very poor. Counting ballots filled out after Nov 3rd is another problem in PA and other states.
At any rate, if Biden “wins” of course he will suppress any resistance using every tyrannical assertion of power that he can. Clearly, the federal bureaucracy will be happy to assist, as will many of of the states’. However, it doesn’t really matter because the lefties would be more happy to have Harris as POTUS. So if Biden becomes debilitated or caught up in scandal, he goes away and Harris steps up with someone even more radical as her VP. Win/win for the Left.
There is honor among these people. That has been clear for some time.

  2. Eric Newhill says:

excuse me; typo – there is NO honor among these these people.

  3. Artemesia says:

Recently drove past a garden of Biden signs in an ultra-liberal suburb in Allegheny County, PA.
One sign caught my eye and I turned around to make sure I’d seen what I thought I saw.
I snapped a photo of the sign:
white letters on a burnt-red ground:
“It Hasn’t Been Great. Biden Harris 2020”
What does that mean? “Elect me to preside over a nation that has never been anything to crow about?”
(Not even during the time I was its Vice President, or in its Senate?)
“Elect me to lead a nation that has employed me to govern it for the past 47 years but that has never been something to be proud of?”

  4. Fred says:

Biden’s going to have fun with BLM, which is currently shaking down Trader Joe’s for 15% of Seatle revenue, but he will have plenty of press help going after Trump supporters:

  5. Diana L Croissant says:

I am really quite frightened by the possibility of a Biden presidency. I am also quite suspicious that it will really be another Obama presidency while joe is just the front man.
But even more frightening to me is the possibility that Joe’s condition, whatever it may be, will render him unable to serve out his term and we will be facing a Kamala Harris presidency.
How in the world did our country get to this point?
I really do blame our broken system of education.

  6. Horace says:

    @DLC
It didn’t break itself. Who broke it? How and why did they break it? What are we going to have to do to get it back?
Joseph Sobran: “In 100 years we have gone from teaching Latin and Greek in high school to teaching Remedial English in college.”
We teach remedial math as well. During my undergraduate degree I passed by a class (classroom building, so many different departments) with an open door and overheard times tables being taught. I was astonished and figured I must have misheard but did a 180 to eavesdrop outside the door, just to be sure. My first impression was correct. We will all only be equal when there are no standards that the least cannot meet.
The country I was born into has been murdered in its sleep. The warning signs have been apparent for a long time, but alas we did wake up in time. Sometimes when things break, they cannot be repaired and instead must be replaced.

Don’t forget the pollsters are paid for and they like to give their customers something tasty. It’s a kind of self-licking ice cream cone.
Saw a big Bikers for Trump rally here today and a somewhat smaller regular folks for Trump. Nothing going on for Biden around these parts. And, it seems lawn signs are passe this year, seeing loads of pickup trucks and cars with flags, 99% for Trump.

  8. Bob Ness says:

Biden’s corrupt. His son is a crook. So what else is new? Trump’s progeny stole from children with cancer. Politics is a corrupt business. Neither party has a monopoly on corruption or, for that matter, on *anything* evil. We’re ruled by one party, the corporate party. The Republicans and the Democrats are two fingers on the same glove. Forget the glove. Forget the fingers. Watch the hand. It’s reaching for our throat.

  9. walrus says:

I hope I’m wrong, but My thinking is that if Biden wins, Antifa becomes the brown shirts in all behaviours. Their role is to suppress resistance. In that, they will be supported by intelligence from Facebook, amazon, google and twitter. The FBI will be deployed against any right wing resistance which will be labelled terrorism and/or extremism. That will inevitably lead to people migrating to “red” states. That will be followed by federal discrimination against red states. You already know what happens after that.
I am wondering if antifa is going to try polling place violence, sorry, “protests” at known conservative polling places to suppress the Trump vote? If you see that, you will know what’s coming.

  10. turcopolier says:

    Bob Ness
“Trump’s progeny stole from children with cancer.” Proof?

  11. turcopolier says:

    walrus
IMO in your scenario the armed forces may or may not support the bidenistas.

  12. james says:

it seems to me due to what i think is a very polarized dynamic of politics in the usa, each side gets locked into a position and and the issue generally never gets resolved…
so – “Joe will never answer. You can take that to his bank.” this is what i mean by this… on the other hand –
but i don’t believe trump ever answered on the question of his tax returns either…. i am playing devils advocate here… why does one side deserve an answer, but the other side doesn’t??? why can’t politicians be more forthcoming??? i think the reason is obvious.. they feel they wouldn’t benefit from being more forthcoming and the public suffers as a consequence…

  13. ancientarcher says:

My prediction is that Trump will win but it will be close enough for the dems/marxists to claim they won. Look at Biden and the people he draws at his rallies and look at Trump and his rallies. It is a no contest. The only reason anyone is saying that Biden will win is because of the blanket media coverage supporting him and the polls, but we all know how accurate the polls are when (a) they poll more liberals than conservatives (as happened last time, during Brexit, etc etc), and (b) Trump voters are shouted down and made fun of to such an extent that they don’t want to admit they will vote for him come election day.
The Democrats will try to steal the election with the help of the MSM and the establishment (all those bureaucrats who have come out against Trump even when he won the election) and they have laid the groundwork for that. Imagine what happens if/when Trump wins and CNN/MSNBC/.. and the other presstitutes announce that he has lost. It will happen!
The way the media has played with Biden asking him tough questions about milkshake flavours etc, the MSM is in the coup attempt – they will be one of the main weapons to steal the election. And since the Dems have already announced their biased/fake polls suggesting a large Biden win, they have built up the cover to steal the election. Plus, after all the votes have been counted on election night, they will keep on saying that votes sent through mail will help them cross the line – a lot of which will be rigged votes. They will not accept the result of a Trump win!

  14. Deap says:

Note to Joe Biden. Re: “children in cages”
Read what this Mexican journalist has to say about coyotes, drug cartels and human trafficking that went on during the Obama-Biden administration. The very issues Trump tied to clear up and close the Obama era loopholes. The numbers and abuse of “rented children” are shocking, used to get across the border: https://noqreport.com/2020/10/24/tijuana-journalist-calls-out-joe-biden-for-illegal-immigration-failures-lies/
Source: trust, but verify – at least stop lying about the topic, Biden. Sounds like one more “smidgen” of Obama administration scandal, that Joe claims never happened.

  15. Deap says:

Bob Ness, why do you overlook the role of public sector unions and their union bosses when it comes to millions of guaranteed Biden-Harris votes and continued deep state corruptions?
Follow the money, as they say – who benefits most directly and most existentially if Democrats retake power? Not the “corporations”; but the huge government work force now dependent on ever increasing taxes.

  16. Deap says:

Bob Ness, Snopes – FALSE – Trump children did not steal from cancer victims. Welcome to this forum, where you get your misrepresentations vetted for free. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-steal-kids-cancer-charity/

That is just 2 xamples from “hillary 91% chance to win” on a 5sec duckduckgo search🤷‍♂️ How are those bIden rallies going compared to Trump`srallies?? Nah, those pollsters can stick their polls up their a## as far as i am concerned.

  18. Eric Newhill says:

    Walrus,
On that point, I agree with you.
One must contemplate what all of those Soros funded prosecutors are for + the no bail movement, catch and release of lefties rioters/protesters + early release of convicts+ anti-gun and prosecution of people defending their homes and lives by said Soros funded local government + the apparent science that covid doesn’t effect rioters/protesters + labeling of anyone opposed to all of that as “white nationalist supremacists”.
It all adds up to something like you describe,IMO. Empty guns & ammo racks at the local sporting goods store today tells me that many others are applying the same mathematics.

  19. JerseyJeffersonian says:

Assume Biden “wins”, and assumes power. I predict that, given all of the talk from Nasty Nancy, he’ll be out of there after an invocation of the 25th Amendment (have to have his cabinet in place first at minimum). The newly minted, shiny penny (more like a corroded slug) President Kamala would then use the power of the pardon to do just that for Joe, and for Hunter. Hell, why stop there, pardon any and all of the coup plotters who might have some vulnerabilities. Make a clean sweep of it as one of her first official acts. Then the purges begin in earnest.
It is, however, my hope that Biden loses so badly, so irremediably, that this scenario never comes to pass.

  20. PRC90 says:

“Joe will never answer. You can take that to his bank.”
    He may not need to.
Hunter spent some time in PRC and Ukraine setting up and operating various commercial and contractual relationships. There would be a good possibility that Joe was directing some of this, or possibly all of it on a week by week basis given Hunter’s less-than remarkable intellect and abilities.
Quite apart from the opportunities various agencies and entities had to collect compromising evidence of Hunter’s off-duty recreational exploits, they would have also targeted Hunter’s end of any communication. Sure, he and Joe would or could have used USG secure channels given Joe’s position, however neither seems to have the underlying discipline needed to constantly maintain this kind of security.
To the extent that they are both idiots I’d suggest other people out there would have collected some very useful material on Joe.
    Nancy and Kamala wouldn’t care.

  21. Fred says:

    On a related corruption note:
“”the GSA and the FBI undermined the transition process by preserving Trump transition team records contrary to the terms of the memorandum of understanding, hiding that fact from the Trump transition team, and refusing to provide the team with copies of its own records.””
Thanks Barack and Biden. I don’t think we need four more years of that.
