Late Imperial Decline is a wild ride huh.

    • Pat Lang says:

Maybe he was telling the woman that it was all right for him to get this close, even though Doctor Jill is in Japan.

    • PRC90 says:

      Perhaps not so much ‘decline’.
The Roman Republic was certainly in decline, until Octavian came along. I wonder what was the Roman Latin expression for ‘paradigm shift’ ? No doubt they too were beset by management-speak.

  2. Serge says:

Snopes, that citadel of truth/fact checking, seems to also be at a loss. They are usually pretty good at inventing something contrary to what’s staring you in the face, not this time:
    “Unproven
This is a genuine video, but it’s improbable that the president said “My butt’s been wiped.” While we can’t definitively say what Biden said, neither can anyone else.”

  3. Eric Newhill says:

Kinda puts Biden’s quip that,“We have put together I think the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.” in a different light. Not another gaff, rather just mindlessly blurting out the truth.

  4. Oilman2 says:

Leader of the Free World…heavy sigh…

Either a definitive cognitive test is needed for Presidential certification, or we need to put a maximum age on Presidents, just as there is a minimum.

  5. William H Buckey says:

Now I’ll be oddly uncomfortable when he doesn’t announce this every morning.

  6. Pat Lang says:

Lewis Black used to have bit about having a personal ball washer.

  7. akaPatience says:

O-M-G. I agree with Eric – Biden haphazardly blurts out the truth on occasion. Why is there even debate about this? He plainly said it. He’s said bizarre and inappropriate things before, like the anecdote about how little kids were fascinated by his wet, hairy legs. In addition to other tales of this sort (e.g., “Corn Pop”), he often spoke incoherently and made blatantly racist remarks as well during his campaign. Yet he supposedly received 81 million votes – while Trump got more African American and Hispanic votes than any other Republican presidential candidate in history. It doesn’t add up. And unlike when Trump was in office, neither the MSM nor any Dems bother to discuss invoking the 25th Amendment regarding feeble Joe. If he can get away with saying, “my butt’s been wiped” without consequence, it’s probably going to take an obvious physical manifestation of dementia before this serious condition is addressed.

I notice there’s often a person nearby who chuckles whenever he says such things. Is that part of someone’s job description? Is someone being employed to laugh off Biden’s senility?

  8. Fred says:

He has become Prince Akeem Joffer, minus the humorous entourage.

  9. Deap says:

Amiable old coot – that is what his body language is telling his adoring crowds.

  10. PRC90 says:

I’m genuinely trying not to watch these. It’s easy to deride, but a man in his condition should be treated with respect. Instead, he is being made to pull a plough.

All I can think of is that:

    (a) Kamala (or the worm in her head, will think she) can get two terms, 2024-2032, if she takes over after the Nov 8th 2022 midterm, but only one term until 2028 if Joe loses it before then. She has to keep Joe going for 15 more months.
Work, Kamala, work, you can do it honey ! Cackle Cackle Now !

    (b) No adversary nuke power is going to put any decision making stress on the US chain of command with Joe in it. The US formalised OODA loop could have all kinds of other random letters, numbers and pictures of giraffes in it even with the Joe work-arounds that are already doubtlessly in place, with consequent unpredictability of outcome.

I can see why Bezos is trying to emigrate to Mars.

  11. Babeltuap says:

Reporters should respond with the same jibberish to mock him. He has done this numerous times to demean reporters. Obama has to be saying enough. No more attempts at humor or wit. Only answer question of face of reporter on index card with response for them under their pic.

  12. Tidewater says:

Many a mickle maks a muckle.

  13. TV says:

    Dr. Jackson is dead on.
Biden is not just a dimwit, he’s a dimwit with dementia.
That’s fine and dandy as long as there are no more mean tweets.
People get the government they deserve.

  14. Hill5Air says:

Is it possible he is faking? Seems like a lot of people will cover him, real or feigned.
    https://www.nytimes.com/2005/12/19/obituaries/vincent-gigante-mafia-leader-who-feigned-insanity-dies-at-77.html

  15. James says:

As long as Foreign Policy magazine is writhing on the floor crying about Biden extending an olive branch to Russia:
    https://foreignpolicy.com/2021/07/26/biden-merkel-putin-nord-stream-2-gas-pipeline-germany-russia-ukraine-geopolitics-central-eastern-europe/

… I am not going to hate Biden too much.

    • Pat Lang says:

      James

Not a question of hating him. He is a pathetic creature who should not be president.

  16. Polish Janitor says:

He’s gotta be on a serotonin-inducing drug cocktail for making an ass of himself like that, or he’s growing into an infant so he’s happy that his butt is wiped clean! I suspect it’s the latter.

Leave him alone he’s just enjoying himself in small things…!

  17. Serge says:

Word coming out that this man and the people behind him will announce a federal worker vaccine mandate on Thursday. Interesting how as more and more evidence emerges from the earliest and quickest nation to mass vax(Israel) that these vaccines are failed vaccines, the more desperate the Western MSM gets in its flailing diatribes against the unwashed masses of the unvaxxed. Look to Israel for all the data you need, the MRNA vaxes wear out after 6 months for preventing symptomatic infection, same goes for the rate of hospitalization for the elderly. Israelis vaxxed in feb catching SARS 2 at twice the rate of May vaxxed. If you need to inject yourself 6-8 times a year with what is very likely a cardiotoxic substance(for the young)to protect yourself from the symptoms of a disease, that’s a failed vaccine. If you are elderly, morbidly obese, or have certain conditions;yes the risk benefit of taking this stuff is on your side vs the very real consequences of catching SARS 2. But to sacrifice the young, and the children, the children! For what? It doesn’t stop them from catching/spreading(because it’s a failed vaccine). They don’t get sick from SARS 2. So why are we doing this in light of the knowns and even greater unknowns in re side effects? How many young Americans are walking around today with permanent heart damage at the cellular level because they were duped or lead by their ignorant parents? More than the number of this cohort walking around with damage from SARS 2. This is a criminal sacrifice in the name of the greater good. At least if the goddamned things worked.

    • Deap says:

      The federal vacc1ne mandate w1ll weed out the wh1te supremac1sts – because “only conservat1ves” choose to rema1n unvacc1nated. 1rony be1ng, federal workers are 99% Democrat anyway.

      Ethn1c cleans1ng 1n the 21st century. – Democrat style.

    • Fred says:

      Serge,

“protect yourself from the symptoms of a disease”

If it only treats symptoms it is not a vaccine.

  18. English Outsider says:

I’ve been watching a few such videos recently, Colonel. Until recently I thought he’d hold out well enough.

Right now I think it just possible to dismiss such incidents as some sort of folksy humour, maybe even sarcastic reference to those who are saying he is incapable. The current level is a level that can be got away with. “Amiable old coot” will cover it.

If it gets at all worse it looks like an insoluble puzzle. He can’t be allowed to make anything but carefully managed appearances if there is further deterioration. But to remove him is immediately to admit that there had been something wrong all along. “They must have known” will be said by all, supporters included.

In that case it would be apparent to all that he had been placed in the Presidency while incapable. That he had been merely a convenient placeholder. I believe that would seriously reduce confidence in the Administration. There are many instances of leaders becoming incapable while in office. I can think of none who were put into office in such a condition.

  19. Yeah, Right says:

I am going to be derided over this, but I didn’t hear the word “wiped”, what I heard was the word “what?”

It looked to me like he was making some joke about not being able to hear what the reporter was shouting to him over the sound of the helicopter. He certainly looked like a man who had just made a joke, not a man who had just had his arse wiped.

But, hey, I could be wrong: I couldn’t hear it very well over the sound of the helicopter.

  20. Eric Newhill says:

Biden said today that he used to drive an 18 wheeler. He’s nuts. He’ll say anything.
