“…  Russia Has Lost 2,009 Tanks Since Invasion”

“Russia has lost 2,009 tanks and 48,700 military personnel since it went to war with Ukraine, the Ukraine Ministry of Defense said Friday.

The figures came in a post on Twitter.

The military officials tweeted: “In 190 days of full-scale war, the [Ukrainian Army] has destroyed more than 2,000 Russian tanks. The amount of metal needed for the production of this number of tanks would be enough to build 9 Eiffel towers. Now it’s just scrap metal.”

And why would you believe anything they had to say about it?

    • A.Pols says:

I’ll second that, William. Most of what you’ll see here is cherry picked from “Hooray for our side” propaganda. All will be revealed in the fullness of time once it’s all over.

  2. Sam says:

That’s why we don’t see Putin on the news,

His speeches are revealing too much about EU and USA monetary policies.

Putin is correct about our economic and financial policy. What he didn’t say or it didn’t fit with his narrative, is that the lions share of the money printing went to our financial elite.

WPO: We live a two separate information worlds now. Every day the NAFO keyoboard warriors paint the Russians as “the gang that couldn’t shoot straight” and the pr0-Russian accounts claims the “counteroffensive” led to a UA slaughter.

There seems to a a “gentleman’s agreement” among Western analysts to either play down Ukrainian reverses or just accept Ukrainian casualty estimates at face value. I’m just a regular guy, but I am intensely skeptical of the Ukrainian figures.
