By Robert Willmann

Testimony began in the criminal trial of attorney Michael Sussmann on one charge of making a false statement, in a case brought by special counsel John Durham, who is authorized to “investigate whether any federal official, employee, or any other person or entity violated the law in connection with the intelligence, counter-intelligence, or law-enforcement activities directed at the 2016 presidential campaigns, individuals associated with those campaigns, and individuals associated with the administration of President Donald J. Trump, including but not limited to Crossfire Hurricane and the investigation of Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller, III” [1].

On the first day of trial, Tuesday, 17 May 2022, the witnesses were FBI supervisory agents David Martin and Scott Hellman, and Steven DeJong, who was an employee of the Neustar company, which works on such things as computer security, digital marketing, and Internet connections.

They are letting in Dem donors in the jury, the conspiracy charge has been taken out by a judge that related to Lisa Page, and the trail is in a Dem local…not good for justice.

    Move it to Miami…

  2. Pat Lang says:

I assume, perhaps incorrectly, that a jury cannot be found in the DC District jury pool that will convict a Clinton servant of anything, so I do not expect a conviction.

    • powderfinger1 says:

You are not incorrect. Not that it matters. If any of this looks like it will get closer to Clinton, there is 100% chance of another “suicide” for those involved. I’m not even sure Durham is safe.

  3. English Outsider says:

Mr Willmann – there’s been a release recently of alleged emails related to an attempt to interfere with the Brexit negotiations. If they’re genuine, looks like a lot of plotting behind the scenes, the plotters coming up excitedly with all sorts of schemes that may or may not have had a lot of influence on events but that no doubt kept them all happy.

    https://thegrayzone.com/2022/05/15/operation-leaked-emails-intelligence-coup-boris-johnson/

Of little interest here except that one of the alleged plotters was Sir Richard Dearlove. Dearlove seems to have been involved in a similar escapade with the unfortunate Svetlana Lokhova:-

    https://twitter.com/RealSLokhova/status/1218638343677845504

He was also more closely involved with the Steele dossier than he indicated in the one TV interview with him I saw at the time. A very brief clip from that interview here:-

    https://youtu.be/DrCRkyl7CZg?t=155

But from published material later it’s clear that there was more contact between Steele and Dearlove before the release of the dossier than was indicated in that brief clip.

Looks like Sir Richard’s metier is coming up with or participating in dumb schemes. The Steele dossier was about as dumb as they get; but remarkably effective in wrecking the Trump Presidency. Durham will get nowhere with “Russiagate” until he looks at the London end of the scam.

  4. Deap says:

In the same vein but for different election year, evidence of more intentional Deep State disinformation used to also influence the 2020 election outcomes.

The very early communications with Eco-Health Daszak and Fauci about “covid” in early 2020 – from an initially benign assessment to a full blow Zombie Apocalypse when Democrats discovered it served their purposes to destroy every single one of Trump’s accomplishments as stated in his February 2020 State of the Union Address – the one Nancy Pelosi tore up in full view on camera and the hounds of the massive “covid” war was unleashed on America.

    https://justthenews.com/government/federal-agencies/major-funder-wuhan-lab-told-faucis-agency-covid-would-end-20000-cases

BTW: there is still no accurate data about “covid deaths” – from covid, with covid, or merely incentivized listing as covid for financial gain.

Early CDC morbidity data concluded remaining normal causes of deaths as “covid” deaths was suspect and concluded the actual numbers were substantially smaller than being reported in the media. (Johns Hopkins early CDC data analysis)

  5. Babeltuap says:

If it’s true the judge got married by Merrick Garland then this was a closed case before they stepped in court. The palace protects itself from justice by defining what justice it needs to remain in power.

  6. Fred says:

So it took the FBI less than a day to figure out that the data given by Sussman to Baker in the Alpha Bank setup was fake? Why did they let that drag on for years?
    https://dailycaller.com/2022/05/17/fbi-less-than-day-sussmann-trial-alfa-bank-bogus-russia/

  7. Sam says:

The reason is the purposeful bifurcation of information. Joffe couldn’t take information to FBI handler and simultaneously to media (CI rules). Sussmann could.

Goal was take intel to FBI, then tell media FBI had intel as the wrap-up smear. Media then confirm w/FBI and print.

    https://twitter.com/thelastrefuge2/status/1527055627159326720?s=21

The Clinton campaign, the DNC, the intelligence apparatus, the leadership of both parties were all in on the smear job. Unfortunately Trump didn’t have the guts or smarts to use the power vested in his office to expose the lot and have them taken down.

  8. JK/AR says:

I might just as well jump onto this comment thread. Of note perhaps, I followed along quite attentively to all the goings-on particularly attentive post Flynn removal. For instance I read and studied each and every page of the various IG reports, Mueller’s, and now unto the bits and pieces of what Durham’s allowing to see the light of day.

I am not a lawyer – I have “worked for” a few though: one particularly “smelly” individual prompting me to do some university coursework so to enable me to discern whether what I was doing (or was perhaps tasked to do) might perhaps put me at some risk. My analyses following from [nearly] all Congressional hearings and such as well as the mentioned IG reports having been sent onto individuals for their use I am not in a position – I’m of the opinion – to freely employ that work product.

However I am familiar – only owing to his blog being brought to my attention on some other subject – pre-Trump’s gliding down the escalator and thus into the greater national spotlight – At any rate if anyone’s interested this guy’s analyses, while his conclusions I’ve often differed on parts of regardless is overall – approaching to “of excellence”

    https://havechanged.blogspot.com/2022/05/what-remains-to-be-known.html

One thing I might offer by way of saying ‘this is an excellent source’ is that his studies of the available material apparently were always intended to appear in posts to a blog rather than being intended to be exhaustive – or exhausting! as much of my own product very likely was.

One last thing that’s perhaps important for me to include is that I’ve only once ever posted a comment – and that, exceedingly brief – onto a post of his.

  9. TV says:

    Big ball of nothing.
Democrat judge with personal tie to Merrick Garland, DC jury NEVER will convict a Democrat AND the FBI (swamp personal police force) in the middle.
The swamp will never convict itself; why should it?

  10. Jose says:

The fix is in, the Swamp protects itself and attacks its enemies.

For every action there must be an initial thought that precedes and starts the ball rolling.Find the thought and then track the consequences. The differential called B has always existed but what is evolving is the Believe. The word and pictures on a wall in a pyramid, the word and writing in a book, the word and radio, the word and tv and now the word and Internet.
The spoken word derived from thought versus the Internet is a huge challenge for truth seekers because the algorithms are mind at speed all the time.
Control the algorithm and you control the mind.Trump was one such algorithm.Biden is not

    • Deap says:

As a NoTrumper back in in 2016, I was struck by how many times his supporters would say the exact same thing …”he speaks for me”. I would counter, but he speaks gibberish, what is he saying? It was only when I watched the debates, and saw Trump’s body language that I finally heard his message: I am gonna kick butt.

On Inauguration Day, I became a pro-Trumper because in the face of the ginned up “women’s march” protest that was genuinely incoherent, I knew we needed someone who was going to kick butt. And let the fancy leftwing demagogues go pound sand.

How does that fit into our new milieu of global electronics communications? One picture (Trump’s non-verbal swagger) is still worth a 1000 words. Message: Daddy will protect us.

What did Trump’s non-verbal appeal also say about the 2016 electorate, that had been battered by the prior 8 years of Obama/Pelosi demands for cognitive dissonance?

I predict gut check communications will be more vital than electronic ones. Except for those growing numbers now zoned out on pot, which disconnects them from their gut. I can only hope they will stay too spaced out to vote.

Was 2020 really a rejection of Trump’s four years non-verbal bombast? Or in fact did Biden have to steal the election, because he knew could not swagger his own way to victory.

      • mcohen says:

        Deap Interesting take.

You need to take into consideration emotional depth.Biden had a different path. The loss of wife, child, son will change a person,no different from other traumatic experiences that say soldiers or such have. The algorithm cannot mimic that. After the trump show i think people had had enough.
Do yourself a favour and watch a movie that has just come out called ULTRASOUND.

2016 was weird.I am not American but I enjoy following the political show
One day I was on 4chan.All these memes were coming out.Everyone one was in there pushing for trump. From all over the world russia included.
I come across a few guys talking about somebody’s x rays. The conversation was cryptic but the gist of it was they were hillary clintons hip xrays. This was at the time that the media was being flooded with talk of her being ill and unstable.
I could be wrong but that was just one of many shenanigans that was going on

This should be a far bigger story: the DOJ says the finance chair for the Republican National Committee was secretly working as a foreign agent for China, and directly lobbying the American president.

This has been a problem since Clinton gave Most Favored Nation status to the CCP and the Wall St PE folks decided they’ll amass even more wealth by shipping all our manufacturing overseas. The leadership of both parties and the leadership of Corporate America act as agents of the CCP. The oligarchs are all woke here but have no qualms using slave labor in Xinjiang.

Having testified numerous times in the DC districk I still don’t believe they can get a conviction.

      • Fred says:

        Pat,

It looks like they rigged the jury to me, and would have done so in another district too. Obama’s (and Clinton’s) people are doing a great job in discrediting the judicial branch. I wonder if they realize what the blowback to themselves will be when it all unwinds.

        • Pat Lang says:

          fred
The jury pool in the Eastern District of Virginia is vastly different.

        • Pat Lang says:

          fred
If the defense and the prosecution cooperate along with the judge the jury can be rigged anywhere but in the DC District it is a lead pipe cinch.

  16. Sam says:

Clinton’s team made it all up, Durham found out easily, and Clinton’s team admit it now. Yet, no one seems curious as to how Mueller/Weissmann could spend two years, $40 million, 2,800 subpoenas, use 40 agents, 19 DOJ lawyers, 500 witnesses and not figure that out.

    https://twitter.com/thelastrefuge2/status/1528149417395642380?s=21

Mueller was such a scam. Trump nominee Rosenstein got that rolling.
