CNN producer John Griffin is charged with sex crimes over a year later in an almost bare bones indictment

Count 3 alleges that he not only “attempted to” do the act, but actually “knowingly” did it. The charge states that Griffin had communications with a person who claimed to be the mother of two daughters, ages 9 and 13, about sexual training. He transferred around $3,350 to the mother for expenses so she and her 9-year-old daughter could fly from the State of Nevada to Boston, Massachusetts. He drove his Tesla car from Ludlow, Vermont to Logan Airport in Boston, and then back to his Ludlow ski house, “where the child was directed to engage in and did engage in illegal sexual activity”. These events are alleged to have occurred between 14 June and 24 July 2020.

The last part of the indictment requests that property associated with the crime be forfeited to the U.S. Government. A forfeiture section usually has standard boilerplate language, and this one does, too. But the list of alleged forfeitable property contains a clue that more has been going on behind the curtain. The fifth item on the list says–

“v. the computers, computer storage media, devices, phones, cameras, MicroSD cards, images, and videos seized from the defendant on or about September 2, 2020”.

That kind of wording, especially when written by a lawyer, usually refers to the seizure of possible evidence by a search warrant, a search done by consent, a search incident to arrest, an inventory search of an impounded vehicle, or as the result of some type of official request. The items are obviously stated in the plural, meaning more than one, and “computer storage media” can also refer to more than one.

What is on all of these items, “seized” from “the defendant” (Griffin), about 15 months before a criminal charging indictment was filed? And two months before the big general election day of 3 November 2020?

From where were the items seized? One location? More than one location?

Here is the indictment charging John Griffin–

Another curious thing is the federal court clerk’s file in Vermont. The first entry on the public docket sheet and file is document number 27, which is the indictment against Griffin filed last Thursday on 9 December 2021. An average teenager would wonder what the other 26 papers or items are. Documents filed under seal? It is almost impossible to imagine that the clerk’s office put 26 things in the wrong file and they belonged in the file of some other lawsuit, and so they were pulled out. As of 6:38 p.m. Central Time today, 14 December 2021, the docket sheet in case number 2:21-cr-109 looks like this–

“Date Filed. #. Docket Text

12/09/2021. 27. INDICTMENT as to John Griffin (1) count(s) 1-3. (law) (Entered: 12/09/2021)

12/14/2021. 35. ARREST WARRANT RETURNED executed on 12/10/2021 as to John Griffin.(law) (Entered: 12/14/2021)”

The indictment reveals that Griffin’s ski house at 126 Grouse Lane, Ludlow, Vermont is in the name of a limited liability company (LLC), and was bought on 21 February 2020. Using an LLC is a method by which some people try to keep their names off of property and off of public real estate and tax records. Sometimes an approach is to use a trust or revocable trust to own a residence, but it is a more involved process and can pose problematical issues, and it requires a trustee. An LLC does have to be dealt with on one type of tax return or another [3].

Griffin worked for four major news networks going back to 1999, and was a senior producer at CNN from April 2013 to the present. He worked on well-known programs with well-known hosts. News stories about the case do not seem to be interested in setting out his prior work history, and so we will do it. Here in his own words is his background from his Linkedin Internet website [4]–

The public record shows that the U.S. Department of Justice at its main office in Washington D.C. participated in the despicable plea bargain agreement with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein that prevented any federal prosecution in Florida, and resulted in the laughable, piddling state charge as part of the agreement, through which he slept in the county jail at night and went to his “office” in West Palm Beach, Florida for 12 hours during the day, six days a week, for only 13 months.

Epstein’s running buddy, Ghislaine Maxwell, is presently the defendant in a sanitized trial in federal court in the Southern District of New York, Manhattan, New York City.

An abandoned laptop computer of Hunter Biden, son of current White House administrator Joe Biden, was fortunately copied and seen by others, and from credible reports it contains probable cause that crimes were committed. Although it has been in the possession of the FBI since December 2019, from the date on a grand jury subpoena, no criminal charges have been filed against anyone based in whole or in part on what was contained in the laptop, as far as I know. The FBI is part of the Department of Justice; as are the Drug Enforcement Administration; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (and now explosives); and the federal Bureau of Prisons.

So here we go again. Based on conduct that happened from April through July 2020, ending about 16 months ago, a criminal sex case is finally filed against a person who has worked for four major media networks for around 21 years. But the formal written charge, the indictment, contains only a minimal description of the alleged criminal conduct, and two of the three counts involved only communications. The third count says that at John Griffin’s Vermont ski house the “[9-year-old] child was directed to engage in and did engage in illegal sexual activity”. However, the Department That Calls Itself Justice does not tell us who engaged in the illegal sexual activity and what the sex acts were.

Some law enforcement investigations involving sex crimes are sting operations, in which an investigator pretends to be an underage person and communicates with a suspect using computer chat programs, e-mail, text messages, and so forth. But in this case there is an allegation that illegal sexual activity with a child did take place. This would not be expected in a sting operation.

The forfeiture law requires that any property to be forfeited is to have been used or intended to be used to commit or to promote the commission of the offense. This indictment alleges only two instances of communications and one of communication and sexual activity. But the Justice Department wants to forfeit multiple “computers, computer storage media, devices, phones, cameras, MicroSD cards, images, and videos seized from the defendant on or about September 2, 2020”. And the prosecution is not trying to forfeit any of Google’s computer servers.

Because Griffen has worked in large network news organizations, the investigation may have been a sensitive investigative matter (SIM), and may have been known to FBI headquarters and Director Christopher Wray, and to the upper echelon of the Justice Department, possibly including Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco and Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Is the only evidence of criminal activity on all those items seized 15 months ago about two instances of conversations using the Google Hangouts computer program, and one other set of communications concerning one episode of illegal sexual activity at Griffin’s Vermont ski house? Really?

What do you say, Christopher Wray?

I’ve always ignored or dismissed the pedophile ring theory, aka “Pizzagate”. But now I have to admit I wonder if there isn’t something to it. This miscreant Griffin; the mystery that continues to shroud Epstein/Maxwell motives and doings; the child-sniffing POTUS and his daughter’s diary that memorialized inappropriate touching and showering with her father when she was young — PLUS his reprobate son whose laptop revealed inappropriate behavior with his underage niece — there’s a common thread of pedophilia that runs through it ALL. When added to Epstein’s suspicious death while in custody; the studied MSM avoidance of obvious Biden family bad behavior (not to mention their corruption); the FBI’s shameful foot-dragging of the pedophiliac gymnastic team physician case; and now the gaping holes in the Griffin indictment document as Mr. Willmann outlined, AND the relatively long-term and heretofore secrecy about Griffin’s case certainly makes one wonder what on earth is going on and who’s orchestrating what seems to be a cover-up?

IF there is indeed some sort of pedophile group of “elites”:

    WHO are they?
    WHAT did they do?
    WHERE did they do it?
    WHEN did they do it?
    WHY have they avoided justice?

    • Fred says:

      akaPatience,

What we have with Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial is another Comey Coverup to protect the powerful clients of Epstein. What we have here is an exposure of yet another powerful group of child groomers. What stories was CNN’s pedo-producer working on while the FBI was sitting on evidence during the election.

      • blue peacock says:

The coverup is running full steam. Note that none of the “evidence” presented at the trial is available to the public. The question that needs to be asked is who assigned Ms. Comey the coverup job? And who is paying the judge to hide all the evidence?

  2. Kemal says:

Nothing new here. The Children of God group provided Hollywood with such seasoned performers as Rose McGowan and the Phoenix Phamily. Collateral damage such as the founder’s adopted kid going on a rampage on the woman he and his mother had sexual relations with are merely incidental. Like other hippie communes with documented sexual training, such as the Wavy Gravy commune or Manson Family (Angela Lansbury’s 13 yr old rolled with that happy crew) no one was prosecuted for sex crimes. It seems obvious with the level of protection given that these groups are modern day seraglios, provided a minor league development system for Hollywood as well as the Epstein crowd. It would seem that the more things change, the more they stay the same. The ruling class would like nothing more than to live as a late Ottoman potentate. Squash the peasants and leave no personal vice untried.

  3. Claudius says:

The indictment is bare bones because nothing is going to happen to this guy. He is an Ivy League, posh private school member of the urban elite. As such he automatically held by his class to be morally and socially superior to the rest of the population. If his superiority is challenged, that of the group is challenged.
The elite cannot allow this. The non urban population must be suppressed and looted so that the urban areas can continue on course.
The graft must be funded, the outsized government employee pay and pension schemes continued and the bloated bureaucracies maintained in filthy, corrupt cities that cannot create the wealth needed to support themselves. Otherwise the elites would have to pay more for their urban life; the restaurants, clubs, servants, posh housing, all of it.
In my youth the major city near us made things. Locomotives, trucks, steel, ships nd petroleum products. The elite managed the great companies that did these things but they were not seen as morally superior. Failure and corruption resulted in shunning. Stuart Saunders and his wife were forced out of clubs and socially cut upon the Penn Central bankruptcy.
    Rightly so, but no more.

  4. John Credulous says:

Linh Dinh, coincidentally writes about the same thing:

“You think Epstein was just an independent, fun loving pimp who happened to own an island?!

If you think you’ve got some kinky skeletons in your laughably puny closet, just consider these big boys, with an outsized lust for everything, not just power. They want to screw the unspeakable.

A friend of mine had a career in media in NYC. As he climbed up the ladder, he would be invited to parties where underaged sex was offered, with drugs to lubricate guests towards this abuse. What’s the point of reaching the top if you don’t win special prizes? It didn’t stop at old men screwing 16-year-olds. Children were also available. All this happened in handsome Midtown brownstones.

Once you’ve crossed the line, with videos to prove it, you’re theirs for life. This explains the behavior of countless politicians.”

There would have been much recorded material, because no one concerned would have allowed the liquid gold to flow uselessly into the abyss. The Maxwell trial spectacle distracts from this, and one does wonder if it will ever be pursued.
Where the stuff went to and who used it for what purposes is currently very much Sub Rosa, like Angela Merkel’s doubtlessly interesting but totally ignored STASI file.
